Identity Hair Salon & Spa

I had to go to my sons formal military wedding looking like I just rolled out of bed. Ecause of this salon. My appointment was at 2 but after sitting there for over an hour, I had to leave. When I told the lady I was leaving she said she didn't know what to charge me because the stylist wasn't at the front counter yet. I said really? You charge people just to sit here for over an hour? Then she asked, "you didn't get your hair done?" really lady? Not only did they all see me sitting there the whole time, but my hair looked ridiculous. I only clipped it up that morning knowing I had that appointment. No curling iron, no hair spray, nothing! After I said I needed to leave or I would be late for my sons wedding she asked if I wanted someone else to do something. I said NO! I have to leave now. I don't have time to even sit for 5 more minutes. I can't be late for my own sons wedding. Worst experience ever. Very disappointed. Crazy thing is...I would have paid any amount of money to have a beautiful hairdo that day. Their loss! more

Horrible!! I've been using Identity for over 8 years and every time it's been just OK nothing but the price is over the top. But it's close and I just kept going. Having said that I know when I walk in the receptionist takes your coat and get you something to drink. But not this time. I waited for over 25 minutes watching my stylist chit chat with someone else before anyone even told me she was running late ( I was about 5 min early). When she finally got done she said that it wasn't possible to do what I wanted I said fine do what you did last time. She did a horrible job on the cut. But since I was already running late I decided that I would go home and see if it was just the way it was laying. When I went to pay I had a Gift Cert and a coupon. The rude lady at the counter said I couldn't use either one. Couldn't say why she couldn't but that she couldn't. So I paid double what I would have for this haircut and dye. I paid because of course no manager was there to help me. The next day I called the manager she was happy to help and would call me back. She called back the next day and said she could give me 20% off my next visit. I said no all I want is for you to accept the 50$ gift cert that I was planning on using. She stated she would have the owner Linda call me back. This was on a Thursday so I waited until Monday and when I didn't hear back from the owner I called back. I got a different manager who said that I was LYING because the other manager would have never told me that the owner would call me. I was getting upset by this point. I'm a long term customer and this is how you treat me?!! I told her if she wouldn't offer to accept my gift certificate than I would go to the BBB. She stated there was nothing she can do. So I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and guess what!! No one responded to the claim so the BBB had to close it with out helping. PLEASE DON'T USE THIS SALON!! HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE STYLIST HORRIBLE more

Identity Salon and Spa is expensive, however, they are not as pricey as many of the other well-recognized spas in the area. I have gotten several packages from Identity as gifts, and their spa experience is phenomenal! I love the facials, massages and pedicures. The products they carry are great too. Their hair stylists don't seem to take much time or care and last time I came in to have my hair "styled" as part of a gift package, I got my hair washed and blow-dried straight. That's it. Nothing more at all. Took all of 10 minutes. more
