Very good experience 5/2/2011

Yes, the wait time.....if you get really unlucky, it might take a little... but usually it's not so bad. Anyway, once you get to see the Dr. you know it was well worth it. more

Bad experience 2/16/2011

Reading the other reviews, and noticing that almost all the users have only one review in their account, makes me kind of doubt their legitimacy. more

Exceptional Top Doctor 12/19/2010

I read the reviews on the top doctors in the area, and I can certainly say without any hesitation, that I would completely agree that Dr. Sharon is a caring, exceptional physician. His staff was personal and excellent as well. more

The Best of The Best 10/25/2010

I am writing this review to tell you about my experience with Dr. Idan Sharon. I must first state that he is a compationate, caring, and giving professional. He takes his time with those he sees and is truly understanding of their needs. He is not quick to medicate and Dr. Sharon makes sure that the proper testing is done before he prescribes. I will have you know that he was able to make special arrangements for me by having his excellent staff (Angela & Silvia) work out a deal with my insurance company. Even after knowing that they would only cover a certain number of visits he assured me that he would make sure that he would still treat me even if my insurance did not continue to cover me. This is why when I hear of the outlandish remarks about Dr. Sharon being "" IN IT FOR THE MONEY"" I become outraged. THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT TRUE! I am eternally thankful to this doctor. He has truly made a tremendous difference in my life. I thank God every day that I wake that I found this doctor. He was able to put the pieces of my life ""BACK TOGETHER AGAIN"" Although every day is a challenge, I am confident that I am in good hands with Dr. Idan Sharon. more

THE VERY BEST 10/5/2010

I was suffering for a very long, long time until I went to see Dr. Sharon. He took the time to listen and sent me for the ""right testing"". He found the problem and took care of it. I have seen a number of Doctors over the years and none of them were able to help me. His staff is very good too. Thank you again Dr. Sharon your the Best!! more

Great Doctor! 10/5/2010

I highly recommend Dr. Sharon. My experience with going to Dr. Sharon was the very best. He is kind and caring and extremely thorough. The wait time in the office was only a half hour and it was easy to get an appointment. He has helped so much and my health and well being is so much better. more

Only in it for the money 9/22/2010

I am a long time sufferer of PTSD and other disorders due to working in the WTC on 9/11 and after 9 years have finally reached a point in my therapy where I wanted to find a doctor who could help me move on. I heard a lot of good things about this office and was really looking forward to talking to this doctor. When I called their office, I was subjected to a barrage of questions about my medical history and recent tests that I have had done. Normally you do this on your first appointment, but I figured why not, and told them my history. I was told I could not get an appointment at this moment and they would call me back after reviewing the schedule. I received a call on the next day stating that because I had my tests done previously elsewhere, that they were not interested. The doctor ""prefers the tests are done in his office"". I pleaded with them stating that I am a 9/11 survivor who has suffered for a long time and needed to talk to someone. They replied again that they were not interested. What kind of doctor does this? I'll answer my own question. One who is only in it for the money and realized that since I had recent tests done he couldn't milk me for MRIs and other tests himself. In today's times, you would think that doctors that specialize in PTSD are available for the patients who really need the help, but it seems awfully clear to me that this office is rude and only in it to make the most $ they can off their patients insurance. I didn't think it would be possible to make me feel this disgusted but they raised the bar. more

""BEST"" Neurologist & Psychiatrist in my book by far!!!!! 6/2/2010

I have been to a few neurologists over the years and he was the only one that was able discover what I was really suffering from. He is the only Doctor that I would recommend. I've been going to Dr. Sharon for the last year and since I have been feeling great!!! Pros: extremely courteous & and most important extremely thorough Cons: because he's so good occasionally there might be a wait time more

Tops with us 6/2/2010

This is the most caring, compassionate, and pleasant doctor we have been to in a long time. I was diagnosed with various syndromes and became quite confused. I was taking three or four medicines at one time. Pros: Pleasant, caring, good bedside manner Cons: waiting time more

Good doctor / terribly rude staff 6/1/2010

Dr Idan Sharon is a great, professional caregiver. Knowledgeable and friendly. His staff, though, as mentioned in some other reviews, is extremely rude and condescending. I could go into the details but there's no point, I'll just say that I do not recall ever being approached this way at a caregiver's office. I guess I'll have to look for a different doctor, which is a shame because dr. Sharon himself is pretty good. Pros: Great doctor. Cons: Extremely rude staff. more

Outstanding 11/19/2009

This physician had two seperate and unique specialties, Neurology and Psychiatry. Although I have suffered from anxiety for most of my life, I didn't really understand it fully. I suffered from many physical symptoms that plagued me for years. I had seen cardiologists, ENT specialists, and gastroenterologists for the past five years, who kept running expensive tests on me and diagnosing me with different ailments. I was shot and I felt helpless. Pros: remarkable all around Cons: few insurances taken more

Tremendous experience 8/3/2009

This doctor was able to explain the reasons for my symptoms, and reassure me when I was just recently diagnosed with my neurological condition. He has excellent relationships and connections with the best surgeons and specialists in the medical community, and even sent me for two more opinions. I didn't have to wait to see them at all. the medication I take now makes me feel completely normal and I don't suffer the way I used to. I have not had such a remarkable experience with any medical professional in my life! Pros: personable, intelligent, caring, Cons: price and wait time more

Great Doctor 1/21/2009

I work on Wall Street and before receiving treatment from Dr. Sharon I was afraid to take the train or bus, along with many other fears. Dr. Sharon has completely changed my life in a positive way. I am much happier and carefree. My phobias are gone and I do not feel apprehensive anymore. I struggled for so many years and it is amazing to have my life back again. Pros: Extremely intelligent and great bedside manner more

Highly recommend Dr. Sharon for migraines! 11/18/2008

I went to see Dr. Sharon for terrible migraines. I was having at least 2 a week, and it got to the point where I was having anxiety just at the thought of getting another one. Anyone who has ever had a severe migraine can empathize with my fear. It is the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced. Pros: Very knowledgeable and caring doctor! Cons: I've had a short wait a few times, but that's to be expected at any dr's office these days. He has a TV in the waiting room that makes it easily bearable anyways. more

Simply the best! 9/25/2008

Dr Sharon's patients absolutely love him and send their whole families to him. It's truly remarkable. Pros: You go because of the doctor more

Caring Doctor 5/9/2008

Its not everyday you come across a doctor that truly cares about his patients. Dr. Sharon is caring and thorough with an amazing ""bed side manner"". His office is not like a clinic or a factory, it is private practice with all of the attention of one. He went out of his way to address my concerns, questions and issues. His staff was respectful, friendly and attentive. I was very impressed with Dr. Sharon and his office. In a world full of merry go round clinic type offices, I really felt this was an old fashioned doctors office with all of the modern advances we expect included. Pros: Dr Sharon truly provides quality healthcare. Cons: There can be a bit of a wait sometimes, but it is well worth it. more

Great Doctor 4/22/2008

I had a pleasure to be a patient of Dr. Sharon. He is a great doctor. He is smart, caring, young, experienced in his profession. Waiting time to see him might be little long but it?s worth waiting. I am very pleased with his office and all the help I received. GREAT GREAT DOCTOR!!!!!!!!! Pros: good care, knowledge, caring Cons: waiting time more

great doctor, unfortunately the staff is terrible 7/31/2007

Making an appointment there is a nightmare. I was told in July that they were booked untiil after Christmas, and that they couldn't make an appointment for 2008 until October. I've never heard of a policy like this- is there then just a rush of people calling on 10/1 to get appointments in January? Does this mean that if one has an appointment in August, they don't get a followup for several months? I doubt the doctor would go for that, and my guess is that the receptionist was simply choosing to be unhelpful. This was reconfirmed by her ""accidentally"" hanging up on me twice, the long hold times, and then the line just being busy. Mind you, not for a second was I impolite to her, but I did question the logic here. Plus, I was not a new patient, but an existing patient. Pros: the doctor Cons: the staff- a great doctor is no good to you if you can't get in to see him in the first place more

Compassionate and Great 5/19/2007

Excellent physician. I am a migraine sufferer, but I feel relief for the first time in ten years. He walked me through my condition and with compassion. more
