Ibiza is hands down the best restaurant in New Haven right now (2004). Although it's listed as a tapas place, it's really not a tapas restaurant nor your typical run-of-the-mill ""Paella""-style Spanish restaurant. The menu features an inventive new age twist on Spanish dishes with hints of American, French and Portuguese. Great service, excellent wine list (Staff very well versed in their -mostly Spanish- wine selection), interesting specials, and a menu that changes frequently (unlike, for example, Roomba and Bentara). The decor is elegant but not stuffy. And, most importantly, the food is delicious. If you have a chance, don't hesitate to try out the best kept secret in New Haven!
Pros: Excellent food, Interesting menu, Wine selection
