Humphrey's Salon

I'm so happy this awesome Salon in the heart of Las Colinas is back to providing the wonderful service and fun comfortable atmosphere that I so look forward to going every couple of months. I am telling all my friends that Jay is back and Humphrey's Salon is better than ever with amazing stylists. I almost wish I was a hair stylist just so I could work there. Humphrey's Salon is back in the hands of the original owner, the one that made it such a great place in the beginning. After visiting the salon I can now see that it's well on it's way to it's former glory. Humphrey's used to be a fabulous salon and I'm glad it was able to survive the tragedy of being sold and nearly brought to it's demise. Welcome back Humphrey's! more

I regret my decision to sell the business to this unnamed person who destoyed it in such a short time, however several staff members have returned and we will continue to operate the way Humphreys Salon always has. I used to go to this salon because at one time it was an upscale, quality place close to my home. However, recently it seems to have taken a turn for the worse. The salon manager (Patty) has no concept of customer service, and appears to only care for those who fit her pretentious ideas of what a client should be. She flat out denied scheduling my appointment for a time when the salon was closed, and then argued with me about what she said. She refused to give me the owner's name so that I could contact him or her about her lack of respect for a client. She made me feel like I didn't belong there, and intentionally embarrassed me in front of the stylist and fellow receptionist. I will not return, and seriously, for the price, I'd rather make the drive to Uptown and go to Osgood O'neil-a fantastic place! In the past I have always been happy with the service and atmosphere of Humphrey's Salon. However, since Jay sold the business to Patty, who appears to have no business or customer service sense whatsoever, I regret to say that I must leave. The quality of service has gone sharply downhill and the atmosphere is that of a funeral parlor. Patty has destroyed what once was a wonderful salon with an excellent reputation.
