Mark White at Humphrey's saved my hair!\r \r \r After doing my own hair for about 5 years, I decided I wanted to go back to blonde again. I searched reviews tirelessly online for a few weeks before choosing a salon myself. It was a nice salon, and all of the other customers seemed to leave looking awesome, but the girl I was put with wasnt the best: after over $400 spent, it *still* wasnt what I wanted. My hair had 2-3 inches of regrowth everytime I left and was orange all over, an absolute disaster. At that point, my boyfriend recommended his old pal at Humphrey's. \r \r \r What a difference! In *one visit* Mark was able to totally transform my hair. He has years upon years of experience and is a wonderful colorist. Mark and his coworkers are all very friendly and personable, and i'm excited to be a client there. I HIGHLY recommend Humphrey's! more

I have been going to Jay, at Humphrey's Salon, for about 10 years. He is absolutely amazing. He knows the best color and cut for your face shape, skin color and eye color. I get stopped quite a bit by people asking me who does my hair. I have never been disappointed with any color or cut I've received from Jay. I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone but Jay. more

I just love Jason, he is wonderful with my hair. I have difficult hair to work with, very thick and coarse. He has been my stylist for at least 4 years, maybe more (can't remember). I always love my color and cut. He is very patient and just a great person. I highly recommend him. more

Ive been going to Jason for several years now and I couldn't be happier with my hair. He is absolutely wonderful when it comes to listening and giving me what I want EVERY TIME. He does an amazing job on my color and when it comes to cutting he is a lot of fun to watch. Also, with my work I have a very busy schedule and a limited amount of time. If he doesn't have an opening he ALWAYS finds a way to fit me in. Bottom line if your looking for a great hair experience with an educated stylist you need to go see him. We all know that different people like different things in hair salons. Let me tell you what I like and why Humphrey's works for me. I don't like a lot of fuss at hair salons. I am picky about my haircut and want it to look nice, so I like to go to nice places. However, I don't color my hair or do anything else to it. Also, sometimes I find high-end salons a difficult experience because they seem fussy, pushy, and have stylists that strike me as a little fawning. I'm just not that kind of girl. I don't like a lot of attention and gushing. This is why Franz at Humphrey's is perfect for me: he JUST does haircuts, and in consequence he does them really well. He'll give you a great, stylish, thoughtful cut for a reasonable price, BUT he is very relaxed throughout the process. He understands that I want to spend 5 minutes a day on my hair and caters to my needs instead of pushing me to do something else. He is frank, businesslike, friendly, and just flat-out good at what he does. He listens to what I want and does it better than I could have described - no bones about it. In consequence, I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who wants a ""high-end"" haircut out of a really low-maintenance experience. This can be tough to find and I went to many different salons before settling permanently at this one! Kudos to him and kudos to Humphrey's for offering a range of stylists. I know that everyone wants a different experience when they go to a hair salon. I respect people's preferences, and just wanted to add mine to the praise already on this site. I feel like Humphrey's does a good job hiring a variety of people so that there is something for everyone at their salon! more

I just moved to Las Colinas area for work about 6 months ago and was on the search to find a new hairstylist. I did a google search and came across humphrey's salon. After reading the many positive reviews on Jason I decided to give him a go. I went in for a highlight and haircut with him and I'm happy to say its probably the best color and cut Ive had in 20 years. Jason was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and Im so thankful that I hit the JACKPOT on the first go around...VERY HAPPY!!!!..Thanks Jason! :) more

Humphrey's has a 4 star atmospher but not the price. Missy Bowie is wonderful and has helped me get my hair back in shape. Trusting a new hairdresser is hard but Missy made it easy and helped me trust her to do just about anything to my hair. Love the place, Love Missy!! more

Jason has been cutting and coloring my hair for a year and a half now. He has always done an excellent job and exactly as I asked it to be done. He is great at giving you what you want and giving new style tips as well. He is definitely the best there is, I would recommend any of my friends to him. more

Jeremy has been cutting and coloring my hair for years now and I'll go to noone else. He is great with color and always chooses a hairstyle that looks great. I've had my hair short and long, brown and blonde, and Jeremy has always done an amazing job. He's very knowledgeable about haircare products and always recommends just the right products to keep my hair shiny and healthy. Humphreys is a great salon. Everyone is friendly and their haircare products are great! more

Several years ago I had gotten a haircut that was so awful I just wanted to cover my head with a hat. I did not get another haircut for almost a year and needless to say I did not trust anyone to touch my hair. I went to Leni Ventling on a recommendation from a friend and she is wonderful!!! She has been styling my hair for over a year now, and my hair has never looked better. My daughter was married this summer, and Leni suggested I have some highlights. I received so many complements! I came to Jason two years ago a HOT mess. My hair had been damaged beyong repair by a bad stylist & I was left feeling completely crushed. Jason was amazing. Leni has been cutting my hair for about 18 years! I used to wear it long but she has a gift for looking at your face and KNOWING what looks good on you. She knows when to texture, when to layer and if you want it longer she has a knack for creating just the right look for your face type. She NEVER pressures me to do anything and we have the best talks! Leni has a lot of creativity and continutes to want to learn how to stay up with the latest styles. She is a JEWEL for this salon and I follow her wherever she goes, when I sit in her chair, I can relax knowing I am in great hands! I always leave happy!! more

After trying out several salons in the DFW area and being disappointed either with the color or cut or both, I was recommended by a friend to Jason at Humphrey's. I am so happy to have finally found a good hairstylist. In the 8 years that I have had my hair professionally colored, this is the best it's looked. Thanks to Leni Ventling, the Brazilian Blowout has been one of the best things to happen to my hair! I have naturally wavy hair that gets frizzy with humidity.
