Linda has a good eye for design and is very intelligent but she can not be trusted. She built up my trust and then had me to put down a large sum of money for drapery treatments so she could buy the fabric and have a seamstress do them. She took my cushions to be recovered and my money and disappeared. I have not been able to get ahold of her for two years. Do not trust her. I don't know how she can sleep at night. Dishonest! We were given Linda's name from someone who used her. Though we have received everything she has promised (floor plans, furniture, upholstery), it has always taken many telephone calls and reminders. I can't fault someone for having relatives that are ill, but the norm with Linda is that her appointments will be rescheduled and if you have asked for prices on things she will either forget the first time or bring only half of them to you without a reminder. Someone's health (always out of town) is usually in jeopardy. We actually thought she went out of business since she took her office from a commercial setting to her home. Her taste is fantastic. She is VERY budget conscious. The problem is she is inconsistent. If you just need someone to provide general opinions or coordinate workers, she is great. If you want someone to call you back and show up to appointments when scheduled...maybe look elsewhere. Pros: budget conscious Cons: not timely or reliable more

Though Linda comes across as a very nice person, and we were happy with her design, she could be very difficult to get a hold of. Months have gone by and she has not returned a call. A deposit of almost $3000.00 was given for furniture in June of '07 and as of April '08, we have no furniture nor do we have a return of the deposit. more

Linda is/was a great designer and her end result is great. BUT most everyone in her family is sick or dying thereby impacting her ability to be found sometimes for weeks at a time without a return call. Our cabinets never got ordered without us getting into the direct order process. Furniture never came and we had to chase her down for credits. We've met others who had the same issues with her. We let her go and found others. more

My wife and I first met officially with Ms Hudson on May 12 06 to review plans for a basement remodel. Changes to her initial plan were discussed at this meeting as well. Her total fee was 1500.00, and she required a 500.00 deposit which my wife and I complied with. As of today 9/28/06, I have not received any revised plans from Ms. Hudson, although during the summer she spoke with my wife and stated she would mail us the revisions. This has not occurred either, and her office is within 1/4 mile of our home. Accordingly, I cannot recommend doing business with Linda Husdon Interior Design. Pros: Comes accross very personable Cons: Absolutely no follow through: Took the money and ran more
