Houston's Boca Raton

We have been in several Houston Restaurant but the one in Boca \r Raton is, without any doubt, the best of all. Busy place. We had the ribs and a burger. Ribs fell off the bone and burger was cooked perfect. Apple martini hit the spot more

get what you want and how you want it cooked, and this should not be a problem as the chef is taking your order personally more

This is fine dining for people who usually eat dinner in a Deli. This is the worst of the Houston's in the area, in terms of ambiance, location and service. more

Why is this place always packed??? If you are ready/willing/able to go to a very basic J-Alexander's rip off interior decorated restaurant and order 2 Caesar Salads and 2 sodas and get charged $50+ then this is your place! The old Houston's used to be great, this new menu is horrible and the prices are SKY HIGH. Don't bother. more

I absolutely love Houston's. No matter what you know you're going to get a wonderful meal and fabulous service. I went to this location and was sadly mistaken. We barely saw our waitress once she took our order, we didn't receive any refills on drinks and the steak tasted terrible. Unfortunately this Houston's is off the list. Good thing there's still the Pompano Beach location! more

Food and service are always top notch!! Food is consistently amazing. You must try te spinach dip, you will compare all others to it and they will Leays fall short!! My compliments to the grill chef, he was entertaining as we waited and was kind enough to give us a sample if the fries as we waited on our last visit!! more

Must say one of my favs when coming down to Miami... I love the food the music and the dock looking out at the water..... And a few movies where filmed here oh yea more

Once you get in the door, Houston's service should be the model for all restaurants. Everyone helps to make sure you always have enough ice tea, you never wait to put in your order or get your bill. On top of that the food is consistently good. I have been to this Houstons probably over 100 times over the past 20 years and I frankly think the review with the "slimy lettuce" is crap. \r \r The prices are high and every time I go there I am shocked that the prices keep rising. And, if you don't know when to go, you can end up waiting a LONG time. Its a popular restaurant. more

Been going here since moving to Boca 15 years ago. Great veggie burger, ribs (my husband eats), ceasar salad, and the salmon dish is excellent. Staff is expertly trained and very professional. Desserts are good but wish they would have more of a selection. We love Houstons! We try to go on off times (like most of the good restaurants in Boca) but If you go between 11-2 or 5-7 be prepared to wait but there is a nice bar and also a nice little courtyard you can bring a drink out to. more

The food is always good. The service can be spotty. They use a buddy system, lots of different folks involved in taking order, bringing food, clearing it away. When busy, if you get the "wrong" server, your meal can be ruined! more

Great grilled cheese and burgers, and fries.. Good Atomosphere. It only ran out of bread once in 2 years. 9/10 more

We've been eating in Houston's since the day it opened. Never had a bad meal or service. I'd rate it one of the best run restaurants for , cleanliness and service.\r \r My 2 favs are the prime rib and veggie burger, best I've ever eaten. more

Yes, Houston's can be a bit pricey, (Its in Boca) but if you are looking for good food with good service in a very nice environment, then this is for you. There are a multitude of options to choose from and coming here, over 15 times, we have yet to be dissapointed.\r \r 4 out of 5 stars more

I had read reviews of this restaurant and took my family and some out of town relatives there for a special occasion. As we were a large party of 12, we wanted to be sure there was a table for us and we made reservations. We arrived promptly, only to be told that our table wasn't ready (although they HAD the reservation) and we would have to wait. How long, was unclear. We milled about waiting, including some elderly relatives, until we finally were seated 20 minutes later. It took another 10 minutes to get our drink order taken. \r \r We were very organized in our ordering, we had one person take the orders for the table and write it down. \r \r The food started to arrive and it was just horrible. We ordered 6 appetizers for the table; only 3 arrived. Overcooked, dried out and everything was just plain stale. The bread was hard, salad was wilted, brown and slimy. Steaks were not prepared to our instructions...medium rare arrived totally brown and the medium was so dried out , it was crispy and lifted up into a petrified arch. \r \r On top of everything else, our server was surly and rude. We asked for a refill on a soft drink and he barked at us that there was an extra charge for it. \r \r No one was in the mood for dessert and we decided to cut our losses and pay the check and leave. AS IF the rudeness and bad food wasn't enough, we were charged for the 3 appetizers we never got. When we brought this to the servers attention, he started to scream at us that we were trying to "rip him off" and "rob him of his tip."\r \r I honestly think there was something very wrong with him, but then the manager came over and backed up the server! We still had all the plates on the table from the original appetizers; we showed them there were only 3 plates and they GRUDGINGLY took the appetizers off the bill. \r \r I have never had such a bizarre experience in my life. Please, don't go there. It's not just the one server; the manager backed them up and the food really, REALLY stinks! more
