They did not deliver what was promised and when questioned about the product, they said that what we had ordered wouldn't have worked. We found out later that they just ordered the the wrong item. Their installers were bad and had no idea what they were doing. It required numerous trips for them to try to get things right, which they never did. Finally we had their work torn out and replaced by a much more professional company. We ended up taking them to small claims court to get our money back. If all you want are some mini blinds I guess they are OK, but if you are looking for any kind of quality work, they are a joke and I would steer clear of them. my girlfriend suggested that i bring my dingy townhouse into the modern era with some nice window treatments. I said I would do it if she could find someone to do the job that would 1) come to my place and show me swatches 2) install quickly and around my schedule and 3) for a price that I could not say no too. House of Blinds hit it out of the park. I never really realized how nice my place could look. New blinds and shades have my Laguna Beach place ready for summer! Highly recommended all around. Great service and sales staff. Installation was professional and quick and they even wear those little booties to protect my carpeting. My favorite part was the free in home consultation. Came to my house with swatches and samples. More like a designer coming to my house, picking out the best options and then giving me a price that could not be beat. I don't care where you live in OC...call House of Blinds. House of Blinds is the only place you need to look for when it comes to redecorating your house. The selection of Hunter Douglas is second to none in South Orange County. Great and professional install...their crews even wear those booties that protect your carpet. Their staff is also their staff..not some sub-contractor who does a half baked job. Unfortunately this company has no ethics and is completely dishonest. I took my blinds to them to be re-stringed; I didn't ask them to pick it up from my house at no charge \r When I picked up the blind from repair, I installed and notice that not only it wasn't fixed but was further damaged. I called them immediately and left a message with their answering service. When they called me back the next business day after the weekend I brought it to their attention that the blind wasn't fixed and further damaged, all of a sudden they became very rude; they treated me with utmost disrespect and called me a liar. At no time I was rude to them, this merchant is completely dishonest and they make up stories as they go. I called and complained about them to Hunter Douglas. Since the merchant represents their good name Hunter Douglas apologized to me about House of blind's rude and unprofessional behavior and offered to send me a technician from another authorized dealer in this area to take care of the problem at no cost. I highly appreciate Hunter Douglas standing behind their good name and fixing the problem but even that will not resolve nor excuse the dishonesty of this merchant\r more
