Alright, I LOVE JUDY! I walked into Hot Headz with a jacked up , overly processed, overly highlighted head of hair. I had spent 100's of dollars paying to have someone screw my hair up! Then , I spent 100s of dollars trying to have it fixed. more

I've always wanted long hair but didn't have the volume to let it past my shoulders. I heard about Hot Headz from an ad in a local magazine and I was skeptical if it would work for me. When I took my chances and called, I spoke to Judy and she set me up with a face to face consult.( The entire crew at Hot Headz was Very personable). When I went for my consult, Judy explained how the extentions were put in, homecare of the extentions, matched my hair color, and discussed cost. It was the best thing I have done for myself. Judy and her team are professionals! I had a manicure/pedicure with Heather which was terrific - even my boyfriend got a pedicure once he saw how cool everyone was. We watched several of the beauticians work magic on their clients hair. Wish I lived in Savannah - I would have a new Salon. From cuts, color, treatments and styling - it was very easy to see that Judy knows what she is doing and her team is outstanding. I went in for the keratin treatment this morning with Joan. My hair went from super curly and frizzy to really sleek and straight and shiny!! I had a really good experience, everyone was very friendly and afterwards she gave me the cut I asked for instead of cutting too much or too little off. She offered to do touch ups if I need them. She was really friendly and nice and I am sooo pleased with my hair!! I can't stop looking in the mirror!! I've been hesitant to get my haircut since moving to Savannah but I will definitely return to Hot Headz and ask to see Joan the next time I need one! I travel extensively for long periods of time all over the United States and abroad with my occupation. I have visited many large popular cities and many upscale salons for my highlights and haircuts. I found HOT HEATZ while searching for a salon that specialized in hair extensions I needed due to a bad haircut I received from a local stylist here in Savannah who shall remain ""nameless"". I not only received the most GORGEOUS hair extensions I have ever seen in ANY magazine, on television or in person, but I found HOTHEADZ to be very professional in every sense of the word, yet laid back, friendly and comfortable. Judy Mullen (the owner) is my stylist and has provided me with the most beautiful highlights, hair extensions and haircuts I have EVER experienced in the 35 years I have had my hair done professionally throughout the world. All of the stylist in her salon are friendly, yet very professional and I have witnessed their work as well. I would not hesitate to recommend any stylist at HOTHEADZ for any type of salon experience you may be seeking. I have NEVER seen more TALENT in one salon, EVER! I have had my hair cut in layers many times and HATED it. I let Chelsey Austin talk me into letting her cut it in layers and I must say that I was not only happy with it, but I absolutely LOVE it! I was told about Judy from a friend. She was busy the day i needed to come in but she assured me that all the other girls were great so I took a chance. I got my hair cut and colored by Karri and she really listened to what I asked for. I have never had someone get what I was saying before bc I didnt know if i was making sense but she totally got me! Everyone was having a great time and it felt like I was hanging out with my friends. I tell all everyone about this place now and how they would be a fool not to go there. I have been going to Judy for years and was SO excited to see HotHeadz open. The shop's interior design reflects the cosmopolitan and new-age attitude with which all the stylists perform their art. I have NEVER been unhappy with any of Judy's work. Now that I have met the other girls at HotHeadz I trust any and all of them to provide the same professionalism and custom hair design for me that Judy always has. They are extremely talented and really listen to you so that the end result is perfectly honed to your style and personality. Judy excels in teaching about hair health, as well as what products are good or bad for your hair type. I recently decided to try extensions and had a LOT of reservations about it because of horror stories I'd heard. Judy spent hours searching for the right highlights for my hair and styled it perfectly. NO ONE CAN EVEN TELL IT""S NOT MY REAL HAIR! I love it! If you want extensions done right the first time that will look natural and be easy to care for, HotHeadz is the place to go! I've seen a couple of the girls who work at hotheadz, and I feel comfortable swapping between them. I trust them with my hair and they always seem to be able to compliment each other's work. I have a busy work schedule and often need to get in whenever they can fit me in and with whomever is available. I have been seeing these girls since they were in the last salon and their abilities only seem to increase. I always walk out with a super cute cut and it keeps its shape for quite a while. They were also able to color my hair in a way that I don't have to go back so often to cover my roots. They are always mindful of my budget. Pros: lots of talent, cute style, nice and helpful staff Cons: they aren't open mondays more

I live in Augusta, GA. and Katie cuts and colors my daughters hair. I had not had a hair cut in about 7 years and my hair was down to the middle of my back. because every haircut I have ever gotten in Augusta, I have never liked. I decided to go to Katie because my daughters hair always looks wonderful. I was THRILLED with the hair cut Katie gave me. About 3 months later I needed my hair cut again so I had my hair cut in Augusta thinking I could just tell the lady to keep the same shape just shorten it...........DID NOT HAPPEN! I HATED the hair cut. Called my daughter and told her when my hair grows out, you need to make me an appt. with Katie. Guess I'll have to keep driving 2 and a half hours to get a decent hair cut! I have been going to Katie for a few years and never questioned following her to Hotheadz Salon. I am super picky following a few bad hair experiences and Katie is AMAZING! Even if I don't go back for a couple of months (hey I'm a college student and super broke) I still get complements on my hair. I don't know how many times I am asked where I get my hair done and I will ALWAYS tell them to go to Katie! She is beyond amazing with her eye for detail and I never leave the salon looking less than a 10! Now I'm moving to Florida and I don't know what I'm gonna do. I am one of those people who feel like my hair is more important than it probably is. I am very picky about who I let do my hair, and what I let them do. I try to tell myself it will grow back, but your hair is important to your self image. When I went to Katie for the first time she made me feel comfortable and I trusted that she would meet me where I was. She was more than that. She was fabulous and now there is absolutely no anxiety about my hair. In fact, I trust her talent and skill so much that when I go to the salon I can say with confidence, "" do what you feel like doing!"" I never thought I would be one of those people. I have never left her chair unhappy with anything she has done...always excited and proud! Hotheadz is a great professional environment that fosters their stylists creativity. Judy is an awesome stylist with talent and motivation. There is always something to learn from her. She has a loyal clientele that would follow her to the end of earth and back. She is so generous sincere and kind and I am glad to be working with her again. I am excited to be working with all of the girls from color boxx again and its time for a fresh start with positive vibes and attitudes. I wish some people didnt feel the way they do and I hope that everyone can move on. If someone feels so strongly about not coming to either salons then thats fine but there is no need to bash anybody. especially on the internet. None of us have written reviews about any ex employees or employers we only hope for the best and mind our business. We have all had our differences and we are mature professional women who can learn and grow from certain situations and we all sure have! I'm so glad I looked online! I was looking for extensions to add volume because my hair is very fine. I came in for a consult on a Sat. and on Weds she put them in. I loved them but my husband and children were absolutely floored! She dyed my own color perfectly to match and it is nearly impossible to tell the difference from where my real hair ends and the extensions meet. I have gone to MANY salons over the years and paid hefty amounts but this is BY FAR the best. I'm so excited that I found this little jewel hidden away. It took some time to put them in, but I expected that and it was amazing to watch her accomplish my own hair, a pedicure on another lady while I was processing and a hair cut on another lady all at the same time and all three of us came out looking perfect!
