nice surprise for the rate 5/11/2011

This hotel was a nice surprise for the rate and was conviently located near downtown LA and had cheap ($2 per night) parking. I visited LA for a conference last month at the convention center, about a 20 minute walk from the hotel with a few places to grab a taco or hot chocolate from a local vendor and practice your Spanish on a local. The staff was very friendly and helpful. the rooms are pretty standard for an economy hotel, comfortable yet efficient. If you're looking to save money and a place to park overnight that won't break the budget, this is a good option. I'd stay again if I needed to be located close to downtown. more

pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel 5/6/2011

lThis hotel is located in downtown Los Angeles, however, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel. I have stayed here a few times and the rooms are always very clean and comfortable. Also, having access to a microwave and a refrigerator in the room is extremely convenient; as well as the free wi-fi connection. Oh, and don't forget to enjoy the complimentary breakfast served every morning. more

Comfortable bed, good AC, hot shower, view of two palm trees on the left, good continental, close to the MacArthur Park red line stop, near a post office. Good street vendors: shoeshines, mangos, $5 wallets, batteries, cologne...Good counter staff in lobby. more
