The hotel is well located and clean. He was asked confortable. bed and was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked well. Is located near metro and bus to get around the city. more

safe to me during our 4 day stay 6/27/2011

The hotel was about 1.5 miles from Staples so it was a brisk 25-30 minute walk each way. We walked back from Staples each night around 11PM but didn't have any troubles or meet anyone that looked threatening. There were families with children waiting for buses. We met an older couple who were staying there and they said they walked to Staples during the day and then took a cab home at night. They said there were lots of cabs lined up outside Staples and it was only around $8 for the ride home. I would recommend this as a good value. There were lots of schools in the neighborhood and it appeared to be safe to me during our 4 day stay. more

An oasis in downtown Los Angeles 6/22/2011

Comfort Inn was an oasis in the down town Los Angeles area. The continental breakfast had many choices. Cereal, Bagels & Cream cheese, Waffles, fresh fruit, toast, 3 juices. The price was excellent. I stayed Sat & Sun nights. Parking on sight was really important. I was squeezed out on Sat night, but I was able to park close. The room had coffee maker, microwave, wifi, cable (not a lot of channels) with local ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, etc. I will stay there again. It is central to the Los Angeles County area. Close to the Fashion District, easy to go west to Santa Monica, close to the Hollywood area, easy to go on surface streets to anywhere. more

vacumed daily 6/22/2011

I stayed at the Comfort Inn while attending the basketball tournament at Staples. The hallways that were carpeted were vacumed daily. The painted cement walkways were washed each day we were there. The ice machine and pop machine was down the hall and worked fine. more

would recommend this hotel 6/1/2011

We stayed two nights and have no complaints about the hotel's cleanliness. Both myself and my husband were comfortable in our two bed/balcony room. We took a two minute cab ride to our event which wasn't bad at all! During the day we did walk across the street to get an energy drink. My car was safe in the parking lot and I did not eat the continental breakfast so can't give an opinion on that. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. more

We were in LA for a function at Club Nokia (right next to Staples Center). This hotel is most deffinitely the place to stay if you're on a budget but still want a clean and comfortable stay. more

I thought this hotel was clean and comfortable - good value for the price and the service was excellent. The breakfast was good - waffles, cereal, muffins, fruit, etc. Location was good, I felt comfortable walking around with my four year old, even after dark. It was about 15 blocks to downtown and overall I would fully recommend it. more

very nice lobby, great breakfast, microwave and fridge in rooms, nice pool, plenty of parking, safe feeling. Overall, it is a pretty hotel and GREAT for the PRICE. 2nd cheapest in the area when we were looking, and it is a great hotel. more
