Another good repair 4/13/2013

I took my car in for a routine oil and tire change, and the mechanic found a problem with the shift, which I hadn't noticed because I was used to the way the shift felt. They fixed the problem and now the shift works like it's supposed to. Good work for a good price, more

Driving out with more problems than when I drove in! 10/25/2007

I took in a 2000 Honda Civic with brake problems, and I drove out with an engine light on that led to 330 more in costs of repair. The brakes were over-priced (a mechanic friend of mine in Chicago priced honda parts and labor), by about 100, but for convenience I paid it. However, the engine light coming on was too much of a coincidence to believe that it had nothing to do with being at the mechanic. It came on on the way home from the shop. I went back to complain and I was treated as if they were the victims to be accused of anything, and anyone but them (me) was to blame. I will not go back, and I have been treated better and had better service at the Honda dealership at Fresh Pond. more
