Homesitters of Raleigh Pet Sitting

I just recently used Homesitters to watch over my dog and cats while out of town. Jerry sent over a sitter to meet with me and get to know my pets. It was clear from the start the sitter was very experienced with animals, and enjoyed her job. She asked a lot of questions, and it was evident her goal wasn't just to take care of the basics, but to make the pets happy. more

For the past year and a half I had the joy of working with Jerry ( owner) of Homesitters of Raleigh Pet Sitting Company. It was a wonderful experience! I am a practicing veterinarian and I was extremely selective in choosing a petsitter. My dog ( Madison) was abused at an earlier age and I was looking not only for a caregiver but someone that was truly passionate about animals. This company fits the bill in all regards. Jerry was always professional and eager to accomodate ! I never once had any doubts that Madison was not given the best care and love while was at work. Jerry and Madison would take daily runs and I know she thoroughly enjoyed every second! Jerry even brought over a goody bag for Madison on our one year of service! I since have moved to Greensboro but I will always recommend the Homesitters team to everyone I know! Truly the best in town!! more

I had a very unique situation whereby with only three-days' notice, I had to come to Raleigh for a few days for a court case, and I had to bring my dog with me. Since I was going to be in court all day, I was in a panic as to what to do about my dog. After talking with five pet-sitting companies, there was no question I was going to go with Homesitters of Raleigh. Every time I talked with Jerry (the owner), he was always professional, understanding and sympathetic about my unusual situation, very thorough with his information, and genuinely eager to be of assistance. The long and the short of it is that he did take care of my situation with one of his sitters, and everything turned out wonderfully. As a business owner, myself, I have very high standards as far as what I expect from a business. I have to say that Jerry and his business met every high standard I had set, and then some. I'm new to the Raleigh area - job related moves every few years. I was worried moving to a smaller town that I might not be able to find a truly professional pet sitting service. I have two dogs; one beagle in good health and a special needs golden retriever (epilepsy and hip dysplasia), and travel very frequently, so I really need to know I have a caring and attentive sitter for my own peace of mind. I am so glad that I found Homesitters. When I called no one was in, but my message was returned very quickly. I explained my circumstances and because I travel frequently they sent over 2 very nice and very professional ladies (They wanted to make sure that because I travel so much I would have a backup at the ready.) to meet me and my dogs. Both ladies were obviously dog lovers - they got right down on the floor with the dogs and had their hands all over them, talking as much to them as me while we completed the paperwork. I was still nervous because my first trip was 6 and a half days. But when I returned I discovered that my worries were not needed - both dogs were the most calm they have ever been when I returned from a lengthy trip, and it was easy to see why. The sitter left notes that let me know they were paying attention to my instructions, and the notes were full of details that related her genuine love for her work. I've used many pet sitting services in many cities and had a few unpleasant experiences, but mostly very good ones. Homesitters is at the top of my list. Pros: They understand the meaning of customer service. Cons: Slightly more expensive than others sevices I checked out. I know from previous experience that buying a service instead of a product is definitely a time when you get what you pay for. more

We just moved to Raleigh, had a family medical emergency and did not know a soul who could watch our cat (Miss Moo). I nervously called Homesitters of Raleigh and arranged for care. Our pet sitter was so professional. She came to our home prior to leaving and asked great questions in order to provide the best care. I was so impressed. She offered to get our mail, water our plants, and even change up the lights in the house to make it look like someone was home. Miss Moo had her own medical emergency. Homesitters called me, took her to the vet, stayed with her, and brought her home. I can't express the peace of mind I had during this experience. I knew she was in great hands. Homesitters of Raleigh are true pet lovers. I came home to a healthy, happy cat and a daily log of her activities. I have already scheduled my next session with Homesitters. I recommend them to anyone. more

Needed help at last minute due to a death in the family. No one was available when I called, but got a quick rsponse. Jerry (owner) made things happen quicker than we thought possible, and our sitter was professional, loving to our our dogs and cat, and left us greta notes about how she got along with our crew.
