scetchy place 9/27/2008

After reading the reviews below I decided to stop by this place just to look as I am trying to get a puppy. The wierd part is that they only bring out the dogs one by one and one was even damp after he went out to get it. Im not sure if he kept them outside in the rain or if the puppy urinated on itself and he wet it down but I found it odd that I couldnt see the litter. I wouldve liked to compare how the puppies behaved and interacted. One of the puppies seemed very lethargic too. Then I read what he called a guarantee and realized that I would have to go to his vet and if I ended up spending money because the puppy got sick, he would not reimburse me. Something seems odd about this place! I chose not to buy my dog from there and Im glad I didnt as I found out not long after that a previous customer of theirs who owns Michelangelo's pizza place had gotten theyre dog from there and they ended up with health problems. Im sure that the owners themselves wrote the reviews below to keep their business up and running! Cons: sick looking dogs, cant see where they stay, previous customers unhappy more

I just purchased a second bulldog from chris and melissa at homeraised puppies because the first one was so easy to train! I am having another awesome experience with this one! I have referred them to several of my buddies. They have great quality dogs! more

I have bought two puppies from them. Our puppies are very healthy and smart too. We just love the service we have gotten from the owners. Very friendly to deal with. I would purchase puppies from them in a heartbeat. more

ODD is ODD! 9/18/2008

To many of the negative reviews, It is clear who you are and the group you represent, you people will go out of your way to really hurt people and their livelyhood. Home Raised Puppies has repeat customers and many passed on referrals. If the puppies were so poorly kept then why are they still in business 20 years and counting but you people still continue slanderize the business anyway you can! Calling in false complaints, which are in fact followed up and proven false. You people are the ones who are bad! Your protests, your false accusations, your constant threats, are all the reflection of who you are. Really people just read some of this BS and think about it? puppy mill dogs 5/27/2008

If you are considering buying a pet, going here is just as bad as going to a pet store. I KNOW for a fact that this owner purchases these puppies from puppy mills and many are very sick. You will spend close to a thousand and maybe even more on vet bills in the future and you will be supporting one of the cruelest industries in the world. Please visit your local shelter or petfinder for a great dog and save a life too! Pros: No pro's more
