Horrible 3/2/2015

Worst Dealership on Earth! Make deal with you as a customer and will try to slip in different contracts other than the ones agreed upon during the signing. The finance manager called me an idiot because I read the extended warranty to him, proving his was lying through his teeth. His response was name calling and you can go get it somewhere else if I wanted to. He said that he knew what was in the warranty and that although the contract contradicted what he was saying that it would be the way he says, defying what any reasonable person knows about contracts. The person who is suppose to be his boss said that if you don't read the contract it is on you and that it doesn't matter what you were told. She said that no matter what they tell you that if you don't read the contract and get screwed that it is your fault and that they did nothing wrong. They lost that sale of the warranty and the recordings of them lying over and over again are being submitted to Chrysler and the state of Texas. more

Never Again 2/6/2015

Bad experience all the way around. They never seemed to have the documentation I wanted to see..expected me to "trust them that they were telling me the truth". I love the car, but had buyer's remorse before I even got out of the muddy lot. Never Again. They don't even deserve one star, but I had to give that just to submit this review. more

Horrible Experience 10/2/2014

First, check Holt's rating on the BBB business site. I made the mistake of not doing that. Then check the rating of other dealers. Received a quote from holt over the phone. At the dealership, they did not honor it. After four hours of hell they finally said they would honor the price but there is $1500 in add-ons, like an alarm and tinted windows. I made them show me on the car, they couldn't. Then they said there is $419 document fee, another lie. On the paperwork the $419 doc fee became etching. The doc fee in Texas is fix (at this dealer) $125. Oh, there is no etching on the windows. They will not refund the money for the non-existing etching. One more odd thing, They were very clear on my displeasure. I never received the new vehicle survey. According to jeep, the dealer sends out the survey. Which means the vehicle surveys are worthless. more

Don't buy your car here unless you like bad customer service and the run around. 4/2/2014

I bought a Jeep on March 15th and the customer service since my purchase has been horrible. I was told by my sales person Omer and his manager that I would get new tires and a replacement of the back seat since the Jeep didn't have one. I was told that Saturday that I would get a call on Monday or Tuesday to set up a service appointment. Not only have I not gotten a call I've been calling everyday trying just to speak to someone. The only person that has even answered his calls has been Omer. He did walk back to Jasmine's office (I believe that's her name) on Wednesday the March 26th so I could speak to her through his cell phone. She told me that she was ordering the back seat that day and once she got a tracking number on the part she would give me a call to set up the appointment. I have yet to get a call back, and in fact Omer told me the part wasn't ordered because the backseat was "too expensive". So she had to find one that is cheaper.... As soon as I got off the phone I found 3 other websites that sell the back seat at a reasonable price. With all that said the most aggravating part from all this is the feeling of getting blown off. I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYBODY. more

Used Car Sales Experience 3/14/2014

I cannot believe the awful customer service experience I have received from this dealership. Very rude people! Don't know how they can keep the doors open at this dealership. Unprofessional in communication and business conduct between service department and used car sales dept. It seems the only concern they have is to make money. You are just a number not somebody they actually care about. Will never do business here again. You have lost several customers for life!! more

Avoid by all means neccesary 2/27/2014

Avoid this dealership like the plague. Imagine every bad stereotype about car dealers and Holt will exceed your worst nightmare. This dealer is not afraid to: 1. Bait and switch you to get in the door 2. Advertise cars they never held on the lot 3. Advertise prices which include manufacturer incentives that the vast majority of people will never qualify for • “Oh, well that $5,000 discount on price includes the Bosnian Refugee recovery incentive” 4. Sell cars through dealer trades that they can’t secure • I was pressured into buying a car that had already been sold 5. Hold you hostage by keeping your trade-in keys when you want to leave • For 2 hours I begged for my keys back, they “couldn’t find the appraiser with keys” when I finally was suckered into a deal that excluded my trade, the keys were in the salesman’s pocket 6. Modify terms of a deal once it has been agreed to • I had a deal, after we both agreed they lowered the value of my trade by $500 and raised the final price by $500 7. Hide terms by showing you only the bottom line price • When buying a car, you should work out each detail independently, start with selling price, move to trade-in value, then settle on monthly payment. This dealer will give you one price that includes everything and try to get you to agree to a bottom line price without disclosing the terms of the deal 8. Salesmen constantly go back to their manager • What salesman doesn’t know the rock bottom price he can sell a car for? However, every bit of movement takes 15 minutes to get “approved” by the manager in the glass cage. You have been warned; luckily my purchase fell through because they couldn’t get the dealer trade. The worst part was that as I was leaving, they told me they give $300 for referrals, I wouldn’t take $300 to send my worst enemy here! If you are looking for a good honest dealer, try Pat Lobb in Frisco or Huffines in Plano or Lewisville. You won’t regret avoiding this place. more

2013 wrangler 2/24/2013

My end experience with the holt dealer was exceptional. They let absolutly nothing stand in the way of servicing me as a customer and finalizing the deal on my 2013 jeep wrangler.They exceeded my initial terms that I had for purchasing the 2013 wrangler, they where also about 5,000.00 cheaper than my home town dealership!! Thanks holt way to end the deal!! In the future I will purchase my wife a jeep from here as well. more
