What a mess!!! Finally got reimbursed (minus $420) for a broken sectional that I bought in December! Jeff Holland is the owner of the store. I called him in late December when I received the couch and found it to be of inferior quality. He yelled at me on the phone and told me I was stuck with it and if I did not want it, I could sell it! He told me the customer is never right! I think the man has a boozer problem. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. The store never did fully grasp the problem. They thought I was disputing the amount of the payments. What a mess! I was forced to pay a restocking fee of $420.00. Now, Jeff can resell the POS sectional and support his habit. Stay far, far away. more

So very disapointed 12/30/2010

I bought a sectional from Hollywood, built by Porter, was nice at first, but then shortly after purchase the one end of the sofa started to brack down and sinck in so I talked to Hollywood and they sent someone out to fix it, Then it once again started the same thing so they came and got the bad end of the sectional took it in to fix , gave it back and it is doing the samething again so I called again , I was told I couldnt return it I could sell it and then they could give me a new sofa at a great price ! Wow so you sell me a bad couch and then wont me to sell it and come back to buy an other ?? I can be patiant, and understanding but that just takes the cake. So I am stuck with this bad couch and very unhappy and cant belive the builder of the sectional couldnt even fix it so I will not be making any recomendaions of this company untill fully saticfiyed but they havent called me back even though they were going to come look at it again for the fourth time , they sent the guy to look more

We were first time home buyers and had been looking for new furniture forever! so we started out at the big name places (dania, ashley) and dont get me wrong they have nice stuff but the customer service just isnt there...i happened to drive by on my way home and decided to stop in, man am i glad i went in!!! its not the nicest store iv been in, but the two brothers that own it are amazing!! they were extremely helpfull and personable, the couch and bar stolls we ordered got in extremely fast and when we had a problem with one of the bar stolls they didnt hesatate to return it and order us two new one so they would match exactly! we are still in the in the middle of switching out our ""college"" furniture for grown up stuff and will continue to buy our home furniture from them!! more

They have some nice furniture but they are a little spendy for my budget. The staff was very friendly. The selection was rather small. If you are looking for something a little different they should have it more

Hollywood rocked for me 11/17/2008

Went into the showroom everything looked great. found what i wanted. staff was helpful and not pushy (nice guys) ordered the sectional took a week longer than i expected but it happens. Item came in great shape and the delivery service folks were nice as well. great experience for me all around. thanks you guys. Pros: great items and great customer service Cons: took longer than expected more

They do not have a huge selection of furniture but what they do have is very good quality. They can pretty much order anything for you if you have the knack of looking at a catalogue and picturing what it will look like. Their prices are reasonable and service is excellent. more

Horrible Customer Service! 2/10/2008

I had to choose one star but I think that's even too generous. We bought our couch and loveseat over six years ago and they came with mismatched feet. We are STILL waiting for the maple feet so our loveseat will match the rest of our furniture. We even had to take a foot off of the couch, drive it down to the store, watched a woman trace it on a piece of paper (to ensure the shape was right, uh-huh) and never got a call back. After calling about four times, we surrendered to the idea of having paid good money for mismatched furniture. They drink on the job (there is usually an icechest with half full wine bottles in it). Don't be fooled by the new ""Urban Furniture"" name, it's the same owner and shady guys. All of the people there are awful to you after they take your money, if you end up with a problem, the problem belongs to you and in their eyes, the customer is always WRONG. Pros: variety and good deals but you get what you paid for Cons: bad customer service, drunk owner more

Great store and prices.. from the outside it looked so small but when you walk in your amazed about how much space they have. I bought a beautiful sectional from them and had it delivered, took about 2 weeks for the couch to be built and I was so happy with the fabrics I had chosen. I live in a older home that we recently remodeled and finished the basement to make it an entertainment room.. well the couch didn't fit down my stair well and the delivery guys had to take apart every piece and rebuild it took about and hr and a half. They did a great job and it looked great very happy with their delivery service. Pros: very knowledgable staff Cons: parking hard to get into more

Nice people 8/11/2007

I have made several purchases over the last year or two and have been very satisfied. Their furniture is good quality and very reasonably priced. I send all my friends to see them first before buying anywhere else. Pros: great prices!! Cons: can only enter parking going east on TV Hwy. Watch out for the motorcycle cop usually sitting behind their building. more

Best Ever! 1/20/2006

These guys are the best. I ordered 3 new chairs and Jeff took excellent care of me. Price was more than fair and chairs were great. Only one chair was in stock so they offered to deliver that one right away and bring the others when they came in. There was a mix up in the shipping and Jeff called me and explained that the chairs were 2 weeks out but he wopuld gladly upgrade me to a nicer chair if I did not want to wait. That is the kind of service you just don't see any more and I would recommend Hollywood Rooms and Jeff to anyone. Pros: choice, value, service Cons: location, price, hours more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced 3/29/2005

After puchasing a new mattres from them the owner called me (several days later ) and told me they had delivered the wrong mattres and needed to get the one they had delivered to the correct customer and deliver mine. The mattres they had dlivered was more expensive by about $100. He was rude, pushy and never even apoligized for thier mistake not to mention an offer for my inconveniance. He demanded either I let them make the switch or pay the differance. Even had the gall to tel me I was just trying to get a better bed without paying for it. Hello it was thier mistake, the bed in question was already slept on therefore he could nolonger sell it as new and it was going to cost more to send movers out a second time. Take my advice stay away. Cons: bad customer service more
