Sept 2, 2010\r \r I would first like to start by saying I do what I can to support the community and small business owners when it comes to services I need. \r With that being said, I am Mechanically incline but somethings need to be professionally fixed. My car has driven fine without problem till one day she just wouldn't start and left me stranded, I had the car towed to my home and began the process of elimination. I changed the fuel pump / wires / cap / rotor/ plugs/ ignition coil and also rebuilt the carb, I was getting spark and a lot of fuel, now as I said I am mechanically incline, but I am no master mechanic. the carb I rebuilt was dumping fuel, flooding, and spilling out of the accelerator pump, at that time I had enough and started calling around. \r \r About 3 days ago I spoke with Allen over the phone, very nice and polite, He stated that he himself doesn't know to much about carb. engines but he has a mechanic who does, the Diagnostic would cost 95.00. 1st off we have used Holly Tire several times over the 5 years we have lived here and believed they gave us good service at a fair price. On Friday, 20 November my wife droppd off her 04 Stratus because the blower motor stopped working. I was pretty sure it was the resistor which is a quick and cheap fix. We were informed that not only was the resistor bad but the wiring harness was completely corroded and the cost to fix this was $380. I was shocked. I wanted to believe that they were telling me the truth because they had given us good service in the past. Well I had to see this formyself because I just knew that something was not right so we paid the $80.00 diagnostic charge and took the car home. I took the resistor out and inspected the entire harness (took less than 5 minutes to do) and found NO evidence of ANY corrosion on the harness. Bought the $30.14 resistor and the blower works Great! The entire process took less than 10 minutes (minus the trip to the auto parts store). Now more

This is written in response to the poor reviews posted here.\r \r Two of these posts are from people that never contacted our shop with any questions or concerns. This leads me to believe these are from competing shops or someone else that would be out to damage our reputation.\r \r The review about the stripped drain plug hole is a situation that I am aware of. This situation has been resolved and the customer has been back for service again, her name is Stacy G.\r \r We have been in business here in Holly for nearly 20 years. Made my car worse and now the owner Al won't return my phone calls. I have no recorse but to take this to a higher level. I'm am very unstaisfied and want this fixed. more

Stripped my drain plug hole on my oil pan. Owner will not face up to the fact that his facilty did it and will not cover the cost of a new pan. This willcost me about $1000 to get fixed. Avoid Holly tire and Auto !!! more

I was shopping for tires for my vehicle and stopped in here well I was pricing. I was astounded at the fact that they completely ignored me the only female in the store and helped all the male customers until I pointed out I had been waiting forever. Then they were rude. The prices were somewhat high but even if they were cheap they can keep their tires! more
