Replace and install new water heater 11/14/2014

Excellent service from Sandy in the office continued with James and Fernando when they arrived on job site. They were efficient, professional and in less than an hour and a half, they had removed the old water heater and installed a new one. Very good folks and will definitely use again! more

I had a broken water heater that was 9 years old. 8/9/2014

First time user for Holloway Plumbing. Sandy, the dispatcher was very courteous and direct, called back immediately after leaving message. Called very early on day they were to show up to inform me they had to reschedule, so that I was waiting all day. Todd and Dale were very courteous, left my property clean, had all the tools and a new water heater in stock on their truck in case I went that route. They were on time, came in got the job done, made all the new upgrades look better. Very professional job. more

Excellent Service. 2/17/2014

My third experience with Holloway Plumbing, all of which have been very positive. This time it was James Ozuna and Fernando Zappata. Both were very pleasant, worked quickly, and took the time to explain everything as they did their work. I enjoyed talking with them. I asked quite a few questions about future projects and they were happy to give good advice. I highly recommend Holloway Plumbing. more

Justin Carnes arrived on time with a helper located the problem, told me what the cost would be with no hidden surprises, fixed it with in a timely manner. They where both very courteous. I would recommend Holloway Plumbing to anyone. more

Very satisfied. 2/4/2014

I used Holloway Plumbing to move some heaters around in a manufacturing plant. We had to continue production while they were there. They got it done in a reasonable amount of time. Everything worked and they did not interrupt production. I had used them once before for a generator and that was a good experience also. They called back right away which is unusual for plumbers. I called 5 plumbers are they were the only one who got back to me right away. There were 2 that got back to me a week later and the other 2 did not even bother to call back. They are very efficient and stuck with the original quote they gave me. I am very happy with them. more

This company is well, over rated and certainly over priced. They try hard to sell first then see about the work we called about. They want to put tags on all the pipes with their name on it to mark territory.\r We paid the service call and were very surprised at the quote for the hot water heater fix.\r We have used them before, live close to town and if they would work as good as sell, they could get more done. No major other complaint; just want a regular plumber like Dan Lowery. more

Very Professional and Courteous, I had a leaking water heater and called Holloway Plumbing. The plumber arrived and put on his shoe covers before entering my house. He proceeded to drain the old water heater and then rolled out a carpet on the floor to protect it. Removed the old one and did an excellent job of installing the new one. Then left my house cleaner than when he arrived. A few hours later he even called just to be sure everything was working fine and if I was happy. The job was not inexpensive but I've learned you get what you pay for. OUTSTANDING !!! Holloway has a loyal customer in me... more

I've used Holloway plumbing several times now and don't really think they are over priced considering how much it costs to run a professional plumbing business. Trucks, tools, training, office personnel, insurance, licensing, etc, etc. Joe came to my home for a water heater replacement and gave me an upfront price plus repaired some corroded pipes at no additional charge. His honesty, cleanliness, professionalism and trustworthiness in my home and around my family will keep me calling Holloway Plumbing when the need arises... more

Highly recommended 4/1/2007

I recently had work done at my home by Holloway Plumbing. I found them to be a very reputable company. They were knowledgable, friendly and explained exactly what the problem was and how best to resolve it. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good reliable reputable plumbing company! more

I made a mistake of having Holloway do some work for me a few years back.Big mistake. Not only were they a rip-off.they charged me for work they didn't do. there money man came in my house with his muddy boots to get his money and takeoff before I could check there work. more

Great company! Always professional and courteous! 8/22/2006

I have used Holloway Plumbing for all my plumbing needs for the past 4 years. They are always prompt, courteous and on time. They have always been very good about explaining exactly what the issue is, what my options are to solve the problem and what my costs can be expected to be. This is important to me as I am on a fixed income and every penny counts! PROS: Clean, courteous, punctual and professional CONS: None that come to mind more

Need to flush some money? Try Holloway Plumbing. 12/25/2005

These guys have to be the most incompetent group of workers in Kerrville, backed by the greediest and most argumentative business owner in town. Holloway is expensive, often incompetent, and hard to deal with. He could not even do the simplest plumbing operation- and when it finally got done I was charged HUNDREDS- when others regularly charge $75 for the same service. Get FAR AWAY from this guy. If you must call Holloway, get a second quote on anything you need done- you'll see how his prices are a trap waiting for a sucker. And when you complain about anything, the owner's attitude is that "there is one born every minute" and he seems confident there is another sucker just around the bend. The state authorities should be involved with Holloway for his professional (in)competence and business ethics. Save yourself the time and LOTS of money by calling someone else who IS reputable.
