We were on a business trip and stayed from July 1 - July 3, and Alyssa provided exceptional service. Breakfast could be a little better but hey beggars can't be choosers. The room was exceptionally larger than expected. Amenities were great, even though we didn't have the time to use them. Location was perfect. Thanks again Alyssa for providing a great overall experience! more

The lady at the front desk went out of her way to help me. I came to the desk at about 10:35 p.m. with nothing but my personal confusion and she got me straight. I think I would still be at the desk trying to figure out where to get started if it weren't for Alyssa. more

I am always impressed with Holiday Inn Express Hotels. This one is no exception. Great looking newer hotel with clean everything. Room apportioned with refrigerator and microwave. Free wireless internet. TV with HBO channels (over 80 total). Did I mention the free breakfast buffet with the most heavenly cinnamon rolls, hot meat and eggs, pancakes, juices, coffee, tea, bread, muffins, etc. The pool is clear blue and a treat on the hot days in Killeen during the summer (averaged 90+ while I was there for 2 weeks). The exercise room has about 3 cardio machines and a good selection of weights with bench. The hotel has coordinated with the full-service Holiday Inn up the street to provide free shuttle service within a 5-mile radius but it's close enough to walk to several restaurants, HEB and Walmart stores. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my lengthy stay and would stay again (and I do as a business traveler). more

My family and I traveled to the Fort Hood/Killeen area during the very hectic graduation weekend. After many delays due to weather, we finally arrived at our hotel, hours late. Danielle Wilson was an absolute angel that greeted us at check in! She made sure we were checked in quickly and helped us out after we discovered we left some of our toothbrushes at home. She also helped us out with extra linen and information about the hotel amenities. The hotel is very nice and updated. Located off the gateway, it is convenient to Fort Hood, as well as all of the shopping and dining in the Killeen/Harker Heights area. We've already booked our next stay at this hotel for our next visit. The staff alone though is worth the stay. Thanks again Danielle for saving us! more

On par with what I come to expect from HI Expresses across the land. Comfortable, nicely appointed room. Breakfast was decent enough, although I noticed they didn't have hard-boiled eggs as an option like most others do - I usually prefer them over the powdered scrambled eggs that come on the buffet. Still, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here on my future visits. more

As my boyfriend and I traveled 12 long hours from Colorado Springs, CO, we were just ""googling"" hotels near Killeen area and came across Holiday Inn Express and Suites. I called ahead (approx 2hrs) to check room availability and rates for an overnight stay. I spoke with Danelle and she was beyond helpful!!! She gave me the option to choose a room that will best suit my boyfriend and I (i.e. 1 or 2 beds, standard or delux room, 1st or 2nd floor). Of course when we finally arrived, I specifically asked for Danelle. She made sure the check in process was ""short and sweet"" and accommodated all of our needs. We even signed up for the rewards program!!. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! Danelle should be promoted to management ASAP! She definitely is an expertise in customer service, Thank you for everything!!!! more

As our first time staying in this hotel, I was very pleased. Couldn't had a more better experience. The hotel and my room was very clean. The room was just gorgeous everything top notch. A plus for me was when I saw a keurig coffee maker since I'm a coffee person. And the beds were so nice and comfortable. As I went with my business the next day, an issue came up with the hotel. And I decided to take care of it till the end of my day. When i first came in I was greeted by a heartwarming smile by a person named Danielle. I informed her about the issue I was dealing with and instantly she made sure to take care of it. She was very helpful & nice. Made the process short and sweet and accommodated all of our needs. She is definitely an expertise in customer service. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! I will definitely give this property 5 stars for its location, staff, cleanliness and appearance. Had an amazing stay. It was a very wonderful visit and I will be returning. more

I checked in here late after a long flight and was pleased with the service from the front desk clerk who made checking in easy and quick . The next few mornings were even better than I than I expected. The complimentary breakfast service was impressive, the breakfast bar was very up kept and crystal the breakfast attendant was more than helpful to me and my family. The parking is good and there's a small pool in the back. The gym is small but it meets all your needs. more

We stumbled on this little gem due to unfortunate events. We originally booked another hotel down the road only to find when we got there it was NASTY! I called them after finding it on the internet and they got us in immediately. This is a brand new hotel. The staff was very pleasant. Rooms and facility was very clean. The only problem we had is the electrical plugs in the bathroom didn't work. We brought this to the attention of the staff and I personally heard and saw her calling maintenance for the issue but there were never fixed. It is located almost in the same parking lot as HEB Plus (which we have none of where were from) and let me tell you what....I love that store. Very close to a lot of places to eat and a Starbucks. more

Upon entering the hotel, the fist thing I thought way, ""this smells so clean!"". And it was immaculate! We had a great stay. All the employees we encountered were wonderful, especially Michelle at the front desk and Crystal at the breakfast buffet. We had an unfortunate situation with the guest next door to us that had his television at the maximum level until well after midnight on our first night, and Michelle did the best she could to deal with him. Breakfast was fine....nothing out of the ordinary. I did have to ask for a banana each day, as they were not put out, and there were no cinnamon rolls until our last day there, but the usual breakfast items were out. But what was important to me was the cleanliness of the hotel, and it certainly was. more

Very clean, up to date facility, breakfast here is better than at the local Dennys, for sure. Out room was gorgeous, the bed pristine and oh so comfortable. Staff go out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable and happy. I only wish I had more opportunities to stay here, because I would definitely be back!!!! more

Where to even begin with my stay... it is a new hotel and very modern. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy yourself right in the lobby. Their breakfasts were wonderful every morning and plenty of variety. Their gym was also very nice equipped with a treadmill, elliptical, cycle, and some free weights. The hotel is kept in wonderful shape... more

Great place to stay for a house hunting trip. Receptionist Ashley was a great help. The other staff members were very friendly and helpful as well. For those of us who like to take the stairs it was a pleasant surprise to find them carpeted and air conditioned. more
