I am always impressed with Holiday Inn Express Hotels. This one is no exception. Great looking newer hotel with clean everything. Room apportioned with refrigerator and microwave. Free wireless internet. TV with HBO channels (over 80 total). Did I mention the free breakfast buffet with the most heavenly cinnamon rolls, hot meat and eggs, pancakes, juices, coffee, tea, bread, muffins, etc. The pool is clear blue and a treat on the hot days in Killeen during the summer (averaged 90+ while I was there for 2 weeks). The exercise room has about 3 cardio machines and a good selection of weights with bench. The hotel has coordinated with the full-service Holiday Inn up the street to provide free shuttle service within a 5-mile radius but it's close enough to walk to several restaurants, HEB and Walmart stores. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my lengthy stay and would stay again (and I do as a business traveler).
