Excellent service! 7/1/2013

I canned Hixon Heating and Air because one of our AC units quit working. They were at my house within an hour, fixed the unit for a reasonable price, and we are nice and cool again. I would definitely recommend them! more

Richard and Hixon AC/heating made my are the best and only choice 6/30/2013

I am an Army veteran with high standard, and Richard from Hixon was the first AC/heating organization call that we have ever placed who did what was promised, when was promised for the amount promised. We called on a weekend and he was here on a Sunday. My family and I will always call Hixon and no other when we need assistance, Its not often service companys are what the claim, he is everything and more. my family and I thank you. Hottest day of the year Hixon were there! 6/29/2013

On one of the hottest days of the year my Upstairs AC went out. After trying all night to fix it myself I finally gave in and decided I had to call an HVAC company in the morning. The following morning, still no AC, a grumpy 2 year old and a not happy newborn I called around every HVAC company in the area the earliest anyone could make it out was Monday afternoon (2 days away!) I called Hixon and although they were slammed with work they made it out to me and fixed my system in a few hours. Richard also inspected the rest of my system at no extra charge. Overall Richard was very knowledgeable, informative, professional and punctual. I will definitely only be using hixon from now on more

Great work. 12/2/2012

Our family just relocated from Wisconsin and purchased our home here. We had Hixon install two new Carrier Heat Pumps and Air Handlers. The guys were in and out in no time. They were so nice and clean. You would not even known they were here. The other day we woke to No heat upstairs. I called and Phillip came out immediately to resolve the issue. Finding the blower motor on that unit was at fault. He replaced it and we were good to go. Now that's service. Being a contractor for 29 years and seeing good as well as shady heating and air guys in my years, Hixon surpassed all of them. I would like to say thank you to all the guys and recommend them highly. This is a great company who actually cares about their work and the customer. more

Arrived within minutes, professional, honest 6/30/2012

Found my AC was not cooling when I arrived home from work. I called Hixon Heating and Air. Philip arrived in 45 mins, diagnosed the problem in a few minutes, ordered the part (compressor) the next morning, picked it up and Mike and his pleasant apprentice installed it the following morning. The big name guys couldn't even show up for two days. They were very professional and didn't mind me following the whole process. The price was very reasonable. Great experience! I'll be contracting with them to provide my seasonal service. more

Mr. Hixson, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and your staff. In May I bought a complete system and in December my system quit working on the heat cycle. I contacted your office and within 45 minutes (2) of your technicians were at my front door. They diagnosed the problem and found it to be the reversing valved had gone bad. (1) technician left and went to the warehouse to get a new one, the other stayed and took the bad part off and pulled the vacuum on the system. Within (3) total hours my system was up and running. Service after the sale is very important and I feel that your staff exceeded every expectation. Thank You, Jeddie Bankstons and family more

High tech 1/22/2012

I was in need of a new thermostat. My old eyes could no longer see the poorly back lit one I had and the temperature output on the display didn't really seem to correlate with the actual temperature. Technician recommended the Honeywell wireless Redlink unit with the HD display. They seem to be up-to-date on the latest technologies, made efficiency recommendations for my 25 year old system so I could research with no high pressure sales, technician was prompt and courteous. Picked up the unit and had it installed the next day, price was reasonable and I can even access my system now with my Iphone and Ipad! I'll be back! Great job! more

Very satisfying experience, and the furnace seems to be working just fine. 1/3/2012

I called up Hixon Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. when we weren't able to light our furnace. I had found them through a friend who had used them and really liked them a lot. The woman I was speaking to, I think, noted my panic, my age and that it was a cold day and was able to send someone right out. He came out and talked to my husband, because I wasn't there, and he gave him an estimate and was able to set everything up. They came back out that same day around 2pm. The gentlemen who came out were very efficient, kind, polite and courteous. They did a great job. I couldn't recommend them enough. This was a wonderful first experience and we will definitely use them again when it comes time to replace our AC. more

Quick work and great service 8/31/2011

We lost our airconditioning Friday and called Phillip Saturday morning. He responded to our call quickly and came out the same day. Within no time, our AC was up and runnning like new again. He was referred to me by my grandmother who's been using him for 15 years. She spoke greatly of his word and work. I can now attest that I will also refer him to all of my family and friends, and he will always be the one we call when in need of repair. Our house is now cooler than ever. Phillip came out on an emergency visit on a Saturday and did an amazing job! We were referred by a family member who said they had been using Phillip for 15 years and trust his word and his work. He came out quickly that same day and the work was done beyond satisfactory. Phillip will continue to be the first person we call and will refer his name to family and friend. Professional, timely and friendly! 8/2/2011

I had an issue with our upstairs AC unit. It wasn't blowing out any cool air. There was water build up in the pipe. At that time, my wife was about eight months pregnant and she was hot and upset. I searched online and found Hixon Heating & Air Conditioning. I thought they had a very professional website so I gave them a call. They came out on a weekend at six at night. They fixed the problem and didn't charge me the overtime weekend price! I'll definitely use their services again in the future. more

New & very satisfied customer 7/20/2011

Called for service on Thursday am from an internet ad and they said they would be out that day. I told them I had to work, but would be home Friday. They arrived on time as promised. Diagnosed problem and was able to come out Saturday am to replace evaporator coil. Thanks for such prompt and excellent service. more
