Yes, it's a small place. Yes, the line is sometimes long, especially in warmer weather. Yes, it's a tad more expensive than, say, Baskin-Robbins or something similarly generic. Having said that, it's worth it --- worth the wait, worth the price. The ice cream is simply the best I have ever tasted in decades of ice cream sampling. In my mind, no trip to Harvard Square is complete without a stop at Herrell's.
