Hendrick's Shoe Repair

I read these first two reviews and thought maybe I shouldn't go there to have my shoes repaired. But, the other place I tried apparently closed down. I saw that the shop was off Park Ave and thought that they must do a great job and have returning customers to stay in business there. The employees and I'm guessing owners were an adorable older couple with thick accents. They gave me a great price and gladly rushed my order as I was going out of town. When I returned to pickup my shoes it was just the older man that repairs the shoes. He was extremely nice, told me stories sparked by me asking where he was going on vacation, gave me cute marital advice and wished me all the best on my way out the door. I'm not sure where they're from, but I'm guessing the previously mentioned problems stemmed from cultural and age differences. I will definitely go back. I signed up as a member purely to review this place because the customer service was SO abhorrent. I had been told by another customer that they had lost their shoes before so I inquired about their policy in case the shoes were lost and the woman berated me and then kicked me out of the store. She not only yelled at me in English and a Foreign language but she practically threw the shoes at me. Highly unprofessional. Cons: customer service more

I called Hendrick's to inquire about pricing and location and the man on the other end answered 2 of my questions and said ""We close at 5:30 and that's enough information!"" and then hung up on me. Wow, he's really convinced me to give him business! more
