So this is about as close as Ive been to the actual Bayou, 3rd time eating Cajun, so I cant attest to its authenticity. Seating was quick and prompt, although I did make reservation just in case. The Mardi Gras inspired atmosphere is charming but a little bit over the top. Our waiter was slow to get to our table at first. The menu choices were ample, but disappointingly lacked descriptions. I had the Gumbo to start with and Louisiana Crab Cakes as my main dish. My date had Gumbo and Pasta Shrimp as a dish. While my date and I both liked the Gumbo, I was really more impressed with it than she was. And similarly on the main dishes, I loved the Crab Cakes, while my date wasnt thrilled about her dish. This location also makes a convenient dinner and a movie with the Cineplex up stairs.
Pros: Affordable Price, Interesting Décor, Cineplex upstairs
Cons: , (initial) Slow Servic, Difficult to find
