I have been taking my 6 month old puppy to Healthy Paws since the day he joined our family and I've had nothing but a great experience! The doctors, tech assistants and the rest of the support staff are not only very professional and knowledgeable, but they are so much more personable than I expected - they truly care about our new family member and take the extra time to answer questions, get to know us and our specific concerns about our puppy, no matter how large or small. We recently had our puppy neutered which was a stressful event for all of us. The staff at Healthy Paws spent time with us before the procedure so we would know exactly what to expect and really put our minds at ease that he was in the best hands. As soon as the procedure was over I received a call from them to let me know he was recovering and doing fine. My own physician could use some tips from Healthy Paws on bedside behavior! Dr. Russell and her staff have always taken excellent care of the numerous pets I own. I own so called dangerous breeds and she has never once been bias towards them. And with one pittie in particular, she suggested a new medication that just came onto the market and Abe who had been suffering for months, was vastly improved with just one week of treatment. \r \r I have also brought in my dogs with an emergency with no appointment and they have always taken them right away and assessed their needs and treated them with the upmost care. She emails me on a regular basis to check up on my dogs and Dr. Cronin has also given me her phone number in case anything happened over the weekend to call her. I brought my dog here for a breed-specific problem which Dr. Russell claimed to have experience. It turns out she didn't, and after paying for a painful and expensive procedure, my dog's problem wasn't resolved as Dr. Russell had indicated it would be. We brought him back 8 days after the procedure so Dr. Russell could reexamine him; instead of simply examining him though, she wanted to repeat the procedure. When we said we didn't want that, her face turned bright red and she told us that we should go somewhere else, she wouldn't treat him. I cannot even begin to express my dissatisfaction with this vet. more
