Dr. R. is a rare & special person, as well as a caring Physician. He actually cares about people’s lives enough to offer a service that most Drs run away from. Treating pain is no picnic. It takes a rare & special person to take on this challenge. Many pts have learned to be manipulative, dishonest and dangerously unreliable, to secure treatment from medical professionals who do not understand Pain Tx and are therefore NOT compassionate re: pain pts.\r \r But unfortunately Dr. R is not a business manager! (In defense of Dr. R, this is an all-to-common scenario in the medical profession). Based on observable evidence, his key office processes are totally Ad-hoc, & severely dis-optimized. Simple process documentation, review and automation solutions have not been done (w/ notable success anyway). These simple solutions are painfully evident… but not to the office staff, who work in a reactive, crisis-based task priority environment. Simply asking a 3rd party to document the core procedures required to check-in, check-out and schedule appointments in a given day, would have immediate value! Investing in a process improvement expert would see actual $ pay back within 4-6 months. \r \r If Dr would make a good faith attempt to improve office processes (document current proc., document the best-case scenario, do a gap analysis and tailor a customized Proc. Improvement Plan) this clinic could be THE Model for turning difficult Pain patients into effective people who actually live rather than just survive.\r Pros: Dr. is compassionate and understands Pain Tx Cons: Office processes and procedrs are embarrassingly ineffective more

Dr. Ruben has changed my life. I know that sounds corny, but it's the truth. I suffered for years with my fibromyalgia, and I am Bi-Polar. After seeing numerous doctors and going to agencies (SEABHS) that didn't have a clue how to help me make my life better, he used his knowledge of medications to come up with the perfect combination and has transformed me. \r The pain mgt.classes are fabulous! The classes, along with Dr. Ruben's treatment and suggestion to use the Pilates ball all have combined to help me come back from a horrible life I was living.\r If I have to put up with bad office staff and long waits to see him, I don't care. BTW, I see him in his Sierra Vista office. Pros: Excellent, knowledgable doctor Cons: long waits more

first of all the waitting time is really bad one or two hrs.and the office is run down,no tv,not very clean,and small area,fire hazard,our pain class rm,one lamp for light,run down,dirty,I dont know how they get away with these conditions.alot of people complain but still the same,the staff are very rude,unprofessinal,forgetting to put important documents in your file,send you home with wrong script wrong name everything,they dont know there job!! the only thing thats good is the dr's .dr.ruben was there for me when i was in great pain,and my mental state of mind was bad.I do want to thank him for that.very kind and thoughtful how you feel.and dr,skinner help me with acupunture,and good person to talk to she like one of your girlfriends,very sweet and dr,karen new but very kind also easy to talk to.thats what we need ,just wanted to say thank you all for being there for me in time of need .you guys deserve a new office. Although you must wait sometimes for an hour or more, it's worth it. I've found most the staff to be congenial and will work with the patient. There are certain rules you have to abide by, but if you do that, there're no problems. Go see them! They'll help with your pain! Pros: Good Care Cons: Long Wait more

RUDE staff, horrible at keeping appointments on time . no compassion for anyone and a complet disrespect from the enite staff. the doctor himself is noce and understanding. the staff wont realy messages wont fix errors mad on the behalf. un professional and immature! They should work in fast food for the way they act and treat people i know of 5 other ppl who see them and have said exatly the same thing. the staff is a nightmare and they should all be fired!
