I was very impressed with Carter (my field rep) and Hay's Cooling & Heating's service and communication. They kept in contact with me prior to Carter's arrival - giving me a heads up when he was on his way. Carter was extremely knowledgeable and spent the time to answer all of my questions! I wanted to take this opportunity to recognize Mike Davison who represented Hays Plumbing extremely well. This was the first opportunity we had to utilize Hays Plumbing, and were overawed by Mike's professional and courteous attitude. Mike was extremely communicative as to what was wrong, what he had to do to correct our issue and did his job well. We actually had family over when Mike came, and he worked in a manner that was as non invasive as could be. He was extremely courtous in our interactions and highly professional. When our 19 year old air conditioning system went down for the second time in 6 days we decided it was time to search for a new system. Our requirements: a great product and an equally great install/maintenance company. And we found both when we hired Hays Cooling and Heating. Our salesman, Bill, was professional, knowledgeable and patiently answered our questions. Install went well and was scheduled for the day after we made our decision. The follow-up to the install, just checking the system and fine-tuning anything he felt could have been done better, was a real plus and JR the Head of Install who came out to the house was another professional, courteous, knowledgeable employee of Hays. This company was amazing! We had a horrible experience with a well-known brand previously, so I was reading reviews to find a new one. Hays was perfect. We called because our A/C was turning on but would not cool. When Xavier took my call, he was professional and compassionate. He heard my youngest daughter (age 2 1/2) talking in the background and immediately looked to get us an earlier appointment. Mike came out, he was professional and courteous, and it took him only a few minutes to know what the problem was. Unfortunately, the part that was needed was a week away. We paid for the 2 day shipping to get the part here, but we were still going to be without air conditioning for 2 days. In 100 degree weather, apparently nobody involved thought this was ok. The very next morning, at 10 am, I received a phone call that the part had gotten there earlier than expected and they were scheduling it to be installed that evening. Mike arrived an hour ahead of schedule and installed the part well within the estimated time. He even checked to make sure it was working properly and cleaned out before getting ANY payment details. Let me reiterate that for anyone that didn't catch it. They put a rush order on a part without any payment information. I was flabbergasted. This is the way to do business. True professionals and their customer service is the best I've seen. Thank you, Hays. more
