I Love This Place!!! 5/22/2008

I have been visiting Lancaster every year since 2002, and I NEVER miss the chance to visit the Hayloft. Very nice selection of crafts, furniture, and some of the best ice cream you will ever have, and all at a reasonable price. The candles are hand made at the store and smell so nice. The petting zoo is nice too. My children love the animals. Just across the street is a farm stand that has the best vegetables you will ever taste. You wont find food like this at any supermarket. If you are in the area, dont miss this place. more

Candle Shop with the BEST Homemade Ice Cream 3/18/2006

Hayloft Candle Shop is off of the main road, Route 340, in Lancaster, PA. It is a candle shop mainly with some other gifts. There is a homemade ice cream stand inside the shop with the best ice cream I have ever tasted. Prices are affordable. There is a large petting zoo on the property with the proper facilities for washing hands when you are through visiting the animals. One of my favorite things that I'm not sure everyone notices is that directly across the street at an Amish house is a roadside stand with fresh fruit and baked goods. It is one of my favorite places to stop while in Lancaster. more
