Went to Hayloft because we read about the petting zoo on the Lancaster, PA tourism website. What we saw when we arrived left me with a stomach ache. Those poor animals are locked in the smallest cages. A goat stuffed in a space the size of a dog crate. A donkey pacing back and forth in a tiny pen. No grass, hardly any water, and dirty,sad looking animals. We got right back in the car and left. These animals need grassy areas they can roam, mental stimulation, and appropriate care. I will be contacting others to look into this abuse.
