The only thing I didnt like was not being told on thephone that I would have to pay an activation fee when they came out. Also their were billing problems in 2 of the 5 months I had the service. Although everyone was very nice. more

Great Service 5/23/2013

Last year I contacted Hawkeye about installing a new security system. All the representatives I spoke with at Hawkeye were very helpful. Hawkeye was able to visit my property quickly and completed the install within approximately 1 week. After the alarm install, we had a faulty second keypad and a hyper sensitive motion sensor. Hawkeye was quick to respond and fix our problems. All employees wear Hawkeye uniforms and drive well marked cars. Knowing that Hawkeye fully vets it's employees made me very comfortable allowing them access to my home. Great Company and Great Service!!! more

Great service and installation 5/21/2013

Hawkeye did a great job from assessing our needs, a timely installation, and monitoring from that point on. My only concern is the intermittent connectivity issues between the panel and our monitoring devices, although I know this isn't a Hawkeye issue. Other than that, great company and great service! more

Somewhat satisfied 5/20/2013

The sales representative was very professional and helpful. The company owner seemed to be flexible with product trade off. I was not impressed with the installation or the installer, as a homeowner I want to know what is going in and where it is going. The installer was a poor communicator, not explaining why things were being put where he was putting them. It seem as though when I wasn't watching, he installed wires where they didn't need to be and detectors in very visible places. I am not totally satisfied that the motion detectors cover the area I need covered. I asked for a few extra sticker signs, that I did not get, also the sticker signs that were put on the control pad and other places are so small you need a magnifying glass to read the call numbers. Not good at all!!! more

Great experience with Hawkeye 2/27/2013

We have started utilizing Hawkeye to replace a previous vendor for our alarm monitoring needs. They have brought quality products into our facility and have met all expectations we have had so far. We did have one frustrating situation that led to several alarms in the middle of the night. It was a simple fix, but a huge headache nonetheless. (Paper was taped over motion sensors during initial testing, but wasn't removed when testing was complete, thus causing alarms when heaters would blow the paper.)It has since been resolved and we have had no problems since that time. more

  • When we started in 2002, our focus was primarily residential security. We quickly acquired national service contracts for companies such as CVS/pharmacy, Big Lots, Dollar General, and others.

    In 2007, when the economy was going great, Matt realized that everything follows economic cycles and began to plan for a downturn. While most other companies look to contract, we added staff, invested in additional training, and raised our standards. We also got more aggressive in marketing by exposition at trade shows, participation in trade associations, and business networking.
