Haven Spa Pool & Hearth

I bought my hot tub from the affiliate aof this company 5 years ago. (The Spa Outlet) They were great to work with and I got a great deal. When I had a problem a year ago I thought I would save 25 bucks or so on a service call by hiring someone off Craigslist. I spent 600.00 for 350.00 of work and parts and when my tub quit heating 3 weeks later, the guy wouldn't retun my calls. When I had money again to get the job done right, I called Hot Water Doctors. It's three weeks later, they charged what they said they would, showed up on time and were friendly and helpful in making other little irritations with my tub less irritating. I've been trying to work with this business for months now but cannot get them to return my calls and when they do, they do not call back or keep commitments that they've made. This is incredibly frustrating so I'd recommend taking your business elsewhere. This may be a problem with our specific service person (Dustin), but regardless, BEWARE! After a terrible experience with a local spa repair company, I was referred to this business. They were very curteous over the phone, made an appointment (which was a little further out in the future than I would've liked...but that's because they're good and therefore popular). They ended up calling me a few days later to see if they could come out sooner than my originally scheduled appointment...they'd had a cancellation. The repair guy showed up right on schedule. They gave me a written estimate of required repairs and said I could call anytime to schedule an appointment. I decided to go ahead with the repairs and called them the next day. They put the needed parts on order and within 2 weeks I had a fully operational spa. They came back out after the repairs to check the systems they couldn't check because of the repairs that had to be made first...no extra charge. Pros: Keep service promises, curteous customer service, good value, quality work Cons: They're so good, it's hard to get an appointment less than 2 weeks out more
