Given it's high ratings, I decided to try Harmony Massage instead of my usual place. I arrived 10 minutes early for my scheduled appointment, and while checking in with the front desk, the masseuse let me know that it was his last appointment of the day and that he had plans that he wanted to leave for. He also asked that I come back another day to allow him to leave early. Because I had driven all the way to Bothell for an appointment that had been scheduled in advance, I declined the reschedule. He agreed to still take the appointment, slightly reluctant, then asked me to wait in the lobby, while one of the staff went on a McDonalds run. He ate the McDonalds while I waited in the lobby. By this time, the appointment was now running 10 minutes late. The massage was slightly below above average, only lasted 45 minutes and the service was poor.
The clincher - I still paid full price for a shortened, hasty, and hassled massage. It was not the relaxing experience I was hoping for. Though the prices at Harmony Massage are relatively cheap, it still wasn't worth it given that I left more tense than when I had arrived. Next time, I'll spend the extra $20-$30 to relax.
Pros: Price is cheap
Cons: Poor Service, average massage, inconvenient location
