Hanson Chiropractic and Injury

Before I came to Hanson Chiropractic I suffered from migrains almost daily, mid back pain, and severe muscle aches in my neck. After about a month of treatment so far I have no migrains, and my mid back pain is greatly reduced. Also, my neck muscles are much better and I rarely have tension headaches anymore. This is a great place for healing and spinal rehabilitation, as well as muscle strengthening and support. I am very pleased with my experience here and I would recommend anyone to come see Dr. Hanson and his colleagues! more

I have been suffering major sciatic pain down my left backside all the way down to the last three toes of my left foot for the last year. I had been seeing another Chiropractor for a year and it seemed hopeless that this pain would ever leave me. I had an MRI done 6 weeks agao and found that I had a herniated disk in L5. The doctor told me that if it didn't go away soon, I may have to consider surgery. I found a Groupon online as I searched for a Chiropractor that specialized in pain management and sports injuries. I found a great deal that offered an exam, x-rays, and a one hour massage for a screaming deal. I bought it and prayed that this would be the place to help me get better. I was three days aways from a scheduled Cortizon shot in the back, on Vicodin for the past two months and could not stand for more than two minutes without having to sit down because my sciatica was so bad. \r Even during the exam, Dr. Hanson could see that I was in extreme pain. They took the x-rays, and came up with a treatment plan. He said he couldn't promise anything, but he has helped people that were worse than me and he felt very confident that he could do the same for me. \r After the second treatment, the shocking sciatic pain started to subside. The tingling and shooting pain down my left leg was going away as well. After the second week, the sciatic pain had disappeared. There was some small pains here and there but nothing like what I've been experiencing for a year. All the Chiropractors are incredible! I did not care who I got because each one was extremely experienced and knew exactly what to do. They all new my name. They all remembered what happened from my last visit. They are all in tune with their patients. \r It has been five weeks since my first treatment. I cancelled my Cortizone shot two days before it was scheduled to give Hanson's Chiropractic a chance. I am a firm believer in Chiropractic Care. My father is a retired Chiropractor and I have been under his care since I was a little girl. I am new to Washington and was terrified to entrust my care in someone I did not know. Hanson's Chiropractic help me to enjoy a pain free life again. They are a very professioanl group. The Chiropractors are wonderful and so easy to talk to. The Front Office Staff and all the Team Members in the Clinic are by far the most professional group of people that I've ever met. I was in a vehicle accident in may 2011. The next day i was feeling a good amount of pain through my back and neck. Approximately two weeks later Dr. Woodbury, an employee of Hanson Chiropractic, was doing a health fair at my work, Tulalip Resort Casino. He provided a quick medical evaluation of my current posture, and indicated that i was out of proper allignment. He provided to me a card for a free exam to come get checked out. It is now March of 2013 and i am still returning to their office once a month. Dr. Hanson and his associates have shown the utmost care and concern for my personal health and well being. Over the Course of the first year of adjustments they fixed my posture back to a normal position. So far in the second year, I have been returning to their office once a month for wellness care. The experience so far is one I would characterize as being life changing. I am forever grateful for their knowledge, expertice, and professionalism. They welcome you into their office and help assist you in the process of graduating into good wellness and health. I would absolutely reccomend Hanson Chiropractic to anyone who would like to improve their day to day wellness and start feeling better. more

I love Hanson Chiropactic! They have seriously helped me with my back since my car accident in December. I had serious headaches my back was killing me and I had just had a baby and couldnt even feel like I could take care of her. I can now move freely without any pain my headaches are completely gone and I used to be 5"" 3 1/2' and lost my half an inch (that I was so proud of) and since going here I have felt taller straighter and my overall mood is just better. I have had issues with frozen shoulder and recently had surgery to remove the scar tissue. I also have been through physical therapy to try and get back range of motion. I was not happy with the progress and at the urging of Dr Honz came to Hanson Chiropractic for xrays and consultation. I was a bit apprehensive with going to a Chiropractor before with limited results. I must say that Hanson Clinic is far superior to the one I went to before. In the 12 weeks I have been coming to this clinic my range of motion is alot better, my pain is almost a thing of the past. The doctors at Hanson Chiropractic are very caring and really focus on helping you. I would recommend them to anyone. In fact my wife is now coming to them at my urging. Hello, Dr. Hanson & Staff(: you guys have been an amazing help. I love how friendly and helpful you all are. I would like to thank all of you for the help and making sure everything is working out and that new injuries dont pop up. I was having problems in between my shoulder blades, posture, and neck. The pain was consistant and was causing me to have major problems with doing everyday things; do to car accident. Since I have been coming to you guys for a few months now, not only is my posture better, but I have no pain at all. Being adjusted and doing traction has had an incredible impact on my body. I don't feel aggrivated do to inflamed shoulder blades, I can sit up straighter, and my neck doesn't have a lump behind it. The Hanson Chiropractic office has been a great experience. I had never set foot in a chiropractic office before and this has taught me alot about the body in healing from the inside out(: I never knew what that meant and coming here has taught me that keeping healthy and trying to have good posture can do so much for you;not just from the outside, but the inside. I hope this will help other's and motivate them to visit Hanson Chiropractic at least once. Avoid!! Hahaha, I guarantee you there are employees writing some of these reviews. Look at the join dates and when they were written. Seems fishy, althoug I did sign up just to post about this place. I've never written a review about anything so that should tell you how displeased I was. I've gone to Chiro's for over 15 years since I was young and decided to visit this one after relocating. . Dr. Hanson and his Staff are all about the sales pitch and this weird ""dog and pony show "" when they do their new patient intake. Phony sounding follow up calls. The old lady at the front is a grump and needs a lesson in customer service and general friendliness. They may seem to care about your results as long as they can get you in on a high frequency ""plan"". Granted thats tylically the best way to recovery. However the minute they recognized I wasn't in need of high-frequency care, I was dismissed without any regard to specific recommendations of treatment that i sought, and without addressing some of the other issues I originally visited them for (which they recorded at great length on my first consultation visit). Boy were they quick to do X-rays (which they also didn't follow up on during my second visit) which I'm sure are financially beneficial to them. Their follow up appointment consisted of an adjustment and a ""plan"" which is just Dr Hanson trying to get you to commit to X # of days per week. I was charged two co-pays for this in addition to the third for their ""FREE"" assessment. Didn't feel like arguing since it was only $20 & I had already decided I wasn't coming back. No personalize plan whatsoever. Did I mention this place is PHONY! As a sales person I saw right thru everything. I haven't returned and had my wife switch from Hanson to a different Chiro too. The last thing I want to be ""sold"" on is Chiropractic. I'm not surprised by the ex-employees review on here (read it of you haven't already) and I've been to enough Chiropractors to know you can do much better than this place! more

I have been treated at Hanson Chiropractic for several years due to atomobile accidents. The staff is always very compassionate, understanding, and they have your best interest in mind. Both times I have been treated I have had sinigficant progress and have had a great deal of improvement. I am still in treatment for my second car accident, but I definately feel like I am in the best hands that I can be in. more

I have been going for a little while. I recommend Hanson Chiropractic . They are very concerned for your health. The laser and power plates are fantastic. I feel so much better, I have not found any place like it before. Everyone in the office is so nice and professional. Also the massage therapist are great too. Chiropractic is so important for our body , I did not know how all the nerves are connected to the spine. So, if you are out of alignment it throws your whole body out of whack. This is my second pregnancy and I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant. My baby has been breach since my ultrasound at 20 weeks. Dr Woodbury has been using a Chiropractic technique with me called, Webster Technique, to turn the baby. Dr Woodbury explained the Webster Technique that it was easy, not painful or scary and has a 75% effectiveness after 6 treatments. I'm happy to say that I have only had 3 treatments and when I went in for my appointment today and my midwife told me that she finally went head down!!! My midwife, Gretchen Weiss-Elliot, CNM, ARNP, and I are so happy that this baby girl finally turned!!!!\r Thank you so much Dr Woodbury!!! \r more

I highly recommend Hanson's Chiropractic and Massage. I was hesitant at first, but after x-rays and 3 MRIs due to Trigeminal Neuragia which is disabling, neck and back pain I decided to give them a try. My sister had gone to them for a long time and highly recommended them also. She sent their web hansonchiro., and phone = 425-902-4996 and I started going. They not only have adjustments, massage, protein nutrition plan, tractions laser, exercises and the cool Powerplate machine which gives 16 minutes of extercise to 1min in the gym. They teach you extensively about how your body works (nervous system - brain, spine and nerves) and what it needs to optimally function. I loved that part. It's not cheap, but it works if you need pain relief!! They have different payment plans to help you out. You can't find a nicer and more helpful bunch of people either! How refreshing. It's actually fun to go, but best of all I don't take seizure medicine any more and have greatly improved the function and mobility in my back and neck. Yeah! I also found they have a great deal on their website too. more

This is a whole body care clinic. All the doctors really care about getting you fixed, not just patching the symtoms. The PowerPlates and awsome, and the laser takes away pain like no other. Add those to the adjustments, Ideal protein diet and the graston, and I haven't felt this good since I was 25. I recommend it very highly. more

I had no pain anywhere and am an avid yoga buff. They did this sales pitch /scare tactic on me when they showed me my x-rays....which BTW everyone has some element of wear and tear on the spine...NO ONE (except a newborn ) is perfect. Again I had NO pain...after my emotional upset I signed up for their ""fix package' and they were SUPA SLICK...had my whole life map planned out that would set me back 1800.00+ for 3 mths worth of treatment! WHAT A SCAM! I called back the next day to cancel EVERYTHING and I was put through HELL!!! They had already charged my card 1500.00 w/o my knowledge and LIED about it and then I talked to the 'doc' and he lied too!! NO BODY HAD THEIR STORY STRAIGHT! I had to spend alot of time to get it straightened out! I chose not to contact the owner Doc Hanson as I had a sneakin suspicion he was behind this malicious M. O. As a former employee of Hanson Chiropractic in Everett, WA, I felt it was my duty to publicly inform all potential new patients of Dr. Peter Hanson's business practices. First and foremost, please do not consider other reviews as the truth about the care he provides. I can tell you with 100% accuracy that he has employees write reviews on many different websites including citysearch and google to make his practice seem more successful than it actually is. I myself have written many false reviews for him under his instruction for the express purpose of misleading potential new patients. I am disappointed in myself for letting such a thing happen. He hired me as a permanant employee and then fired me for no reason after only 9 weeks. He couldn't even give me a reason why I was being let go as he was doing it! Just to add insult to injury, he waited until Valentine's Day after my loving boyfriend (a patient that I had referred to his office at that time) brought me a dozen red roses for our first Valentine's Day together. Of course, my boyfriend has since completely stopped his care with Dr. Hanson based on his lack of ethics and morals alone. After I filed for unemployment benefits, Dr. Peter Hanson then went on to lie to Employment Security, telling them that I was hired on a 90-day trial basis. No such thing was ever disclosed to me and this is just another piece of evidence that this man and his practice are completely unethical. What a disgusting display of terrible business practice. What a crook! If you think that the way a doctor runs his practice and treats his staff is important and you don't want to fund a crooked practice, HANSON CHIROPRACTIC IN EVERETT, WA IS NOT FOR YOU! more
