These guys are great! A couple years ago we were having issues with our AC unit and when searching came across Hammocks, they came out (on time! always!) and the service tech gave us his recommendations and told us what was going on and did not push us into anything. Gave us a fair quote and was very polite. My husband is usually not able to be home when they come out and their techs have ALWAYS been very polite and I never feel pressured into purchasing anything. We now have Hammocks come out every season for maintenance. Last year our outside AC unit was struck by lightening and they were out first thing the next morning (again always on time). Gave us a great quote for a new AC unit. My positives are that every tech has been wonderful, knowledgeable, and not pushy. they give fair pricing every time and always call when they are on their way. They do give a small window of when they think they will be there and are usually there early. I would HIGHLY recommend them to everyone. more

I was charged for material that was not used or required, and charged for the labor that was not needed. Tim never returned my phone calls. I would not recommend this company as there are too many good companies that can supply these services and equipment. more

Purchased new unit from Hammocks 10/09 and kept under service contract. Hammocks forgot to service first summer. I had to call them in August. They said just wait till fall. Unit died 5/12. First tech said nothing they did, didn't look at system and then told me I'd have to decide if was going to pay for his visit. I asked him to leave and had another tech sent out. He said, "Who installed this unit? Horrible job. 5 leaks, wrong filter in (they serviced 4 weeks earlier), and no one has ever cleaned the pump. Company sent another tech out to repair and while repairing one leak inside wall (6th leak may or may not have been Hammocks fault it was leaking depending on how hard they yanked on pipes when installing unit-I paid them $300 to repair this) set the inside of my wall on fire. They put the fire out with the garden hose. Hammocks refused to do anything about the fire/water damage. 5 total visits to my house to repair. 5 half days of work off to let them in. In the past 6 weeks Hammocks Heating & Air has given me my annual service and put in a new A/C system. They had to make a return visit because the A/C was not connected correctly. I've been using them for a dozen years and I'll continue to use them. They never hesitate to make things right. more

I've been working with Hammocks Heating & Air for many years now. I've been with them for close to ten years. They've been exceptional to the point where they also help with my mother's air conditioning on the other side of town! She literally got out of a bind when Hammocks Heating & Air drove across town and fixed her air conditioning. You don't hear about that kind of customer service anymore. They have a family bent to them, and pride in ownership that really comes through very clearly. They do it consistently and they are not a new company! more

Generally our service has been very professional and courteous and generally the technicians have been quite knowledgeable. In recent jobs, they installed a full HVAC system and I had to point out the heat component was leaking a massive amount of cold air. They paved it and stopped the leak but it was a concern to me that I had to point out the leak to them. They also chose to replace our thermostat with a much smaller thermostate with a different shaping, involving a wall painting job, and I would not have elected to have replaced it if given the option. Our thermostat was fine in my opinion. I spoke with them about this, but no one took responsibility for the fact that fingerprints were left all over my walls after the thermostat job. We got a verbal quote and gave authorization for another job 10 days later, but the price ended up being 50 higher, so I would recommend getting a written quote estimate. This is the 4th year of using them and all was good and positive until this-usually they have absolutely honest, fabulous technicians, but the last two jobs disappointed me on several levels. more

Hammocks Heating & Air called me beforehand to let me know they were on the way. They came a little earlier than expected and finished in 4-5 hours. The heating unit and air conditioner was superb. I tested it out and I was really happy with the results. more

Hammocks Heating & Air have serviced our heating and air equipment, installed our coils, heater, and air conditioning unit, and even installed an AC unit for my daughter. It's been several years now, so we have had a lot of experience with them, and we're always very pleased. They are always prompt, efficient, and they really work hard. more

Hammock Heating and Air do a good job all the way around. We have two houses and they did the servicing and put new air conditioners in both. They did well and we like them so will use them again. I definitely recommend trying them. more
