Hall's employees are former shoe salesmen and food service workers with no automotive knowledge or inclination. As best as I can tell, they have never actually hired anyone who knows what they are doing. Every time I bring my car in for service, there are new faces who are even dumber than the last. the managers there must be just pathetic to suffer that kind of turnover and low quality recruit. despite the ""remodel and grand opening"" that they spammed my email with over and over, the last time I was in for service they were running city water through a garden hose right into the sewer grate to ""cut down on the stench"". The bathroom was not airconditioned and seemed to have no ventilation at all. All in all a disgusting experience. It seems to me that hall mazda is just counting the days until the doors are shut for good. I don't know if the problem is clueless ownership or incompetent management but i know from experience it's one of the two. or maybe both. more

Took my brand new Jetta in for service, including checking for a bit of a shimmy in the wheel. Got my Jetta back at night, didn't check it over. BIG mistake. Service guy had torn up my tire and rim, worse than I've ever seen, actually. When hubby took it back, they BLAMED HIS WIFE (the same wife who convinced him to buy the car from Hall.). Shame on Hall for such poor service and so little accountability. BEWARE OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT! more

Most fun I've had buying a car 8/13/2011

Normally, buying a car is not a fun time for me. I went to Hall expecting to have a test drive with a pushy awkward salesperson, but what I found was not at all like that. I met Brian outside and he was fun to work with and did not push me into buying a car like most of the sales people I've worked with. He found out what I was looking for, found me a car that fit my needs and then when the price was too high, he found a way to get it down to a price I was comfortable with. Then they brought in exactly the car I wanted from somewhere else at no extra cost! I would suggest buying a car from Hall any time. Brian took care of me from the time I walked into the dealership until 3 days later when I drove away in my new Jetta. more

Excellent experience 8/12/2011

Purchased a new Jetta, and the expereince was second to none. These guys have their act together and are professional. They treated me like a customer should be treated, and gave me a fair price. The salesman was courteous and low pressure in dealing with me. Overall I would reccomend this dealership. Keep up the good work guys. more

Easiest car buy I've ever had 8/12/2011

I bought my new Jetta from Hall and it was so easy. I got a low price on the spot and took it home that day. I didn't feel like a needed a shower after dealing with the guys there. Thanks again! more

Awesome service 7/12/2011

Had one of the most awesome service experiences ever. I had no appointment and they got me in immediately. I printed out a discount online and picked up at 8 pm! Their service department is open until 9 every day. I can't believe how easy they were to deal with. I saw the previous review and felt that I should say how good of an experience I had. I will recommend all my friends and family to Hall. Thanks for your help, you guys are life savers and you have earned my business. more

WORST SERVICE EVER!! 12/18/2010

It?s NOT Hall Good! I do not understand why anyone would want to do business with Hall Volkswagen/Mazda. Your service sucks. I would not recommend purchasing an automobile or using Hall Volkswagen/Mazda for any service or parts. I called this morning to simply get a quote on replacing my tires on my Mazda 6, and was put on hold several times for very long periods of time ( 10+ minutes without anyone retuning to the phone to at least say ?thank you for holding we will be right with you . . .?). I also had to call back several times after being disconnected. I spent about 45 minute to an hour on the phone to get a simple answer and never got my questions answered. I think it is funny that the LAST TIME I was on hold for 10+ minutes, I called another car dealer on another phone line and got my questions answered right away and made an appointment to get my tires taken care of. more

Don't buy from this group 6/18/2009

I bought a used car from them. They said that they would fix the check engine light problem. They did initially, but after a week it went on again. I had to threaten a lawyer to get them to look at it afterward, though they agreed to fix the problem in the contract. I took it back and they said my vehicle was misfiring and that they were not going to do anything about the problem. The service director and the sales manager just asked, ""did you buy a warranty?"" knowing that I hadn't, but they agreed to fix the problem and they did not. It was written into the contract. I took the car to Nissan the same day. Nissan said that the check engine light was a result of a bad head gasket, metal flakes in the oil pan, and water in the engine. Nissan is replacing the motor. Hall had to have known about this as they have the same diagnostic tools as Nissan. Hall probably lied to me about the car's problems and the refused to do anything about it. Luckily, my Nissan still has a powertrain warranty and Nissan is replacing the engine. If Nissan weren't replacing the engine, I'd take Hall to court for fraud and failure to follow through with their end of the contract--fix the check engine light problem. Hall is difficult to work with. The customer service was poor and they had to have known they were selling me this problematic car. I wouldn't buy from this company. In the past, I had thought about buying VW, but after this experience, I'd definately not buy from Hall! Cons: Poor customer service and sells lemons more
