I was very excited about my first appointment at Halina. After reading the great reviews, I thought I have found my spa, less than a mile away from my house. I booked a facial appointment over the weekend, and asked for a confirmation over how long it would take, since I had a tight schedule that day. I arrived a bit early for my appointment, filled out the paperwork, and waited. My appointment time came and passed. I asked the receptionist whether it was going to be much longer. She said she'd check, and came back later saying that it would be several minutes longer. So I said I couldn't do that, since by the time I was to be get my facial, it was going to be close to 15-20 minutes pass my appointment time, and I have mentioned I have a very tight schedule and another appointment. The lady didn't even apologize, made it sound like it was my fault, and told me I should always expect some wait time. I told her no, I made an appointment, I should not be expected to wait pass my appointment time, and if they know there will always be some wait time, well then they should have adjusted the appointment time slots they offered. I have never encountered this with any other spa/saloon. By the way, I am a member of Massage Heights, and now that is the most professional and customer service oriented place. Halina, on the other hand, perhaps forget about what customer service means.
Pros: Nice decor
Cons: Bad service
