Great Surf Shop 11/3/2008

I live in Texas and visit Half Moon Bay frequently. I always stop in Half Moon Bay Board Shop.They are always very nice and welcoming.I rent boards and westsuits from them. The quality of everything I have rented from them is always good.It seems like I always get new equipment.Darren is very helpful and fun to work with.I highly recommend this shop to one and all. Best surf shop ever. They had great customer service, extremely helpful gave insight on which wetsuit, boards would best suit us Pros: great service, good products, rentals, even cheap used boards, great selection of new boards both long and shortboards Cons: small parking lot. more

Terrible customer service at times (local fever?) 8/23/2007

I'm a local and I want to love this place, but will NEVER go back. The tall Brazilian woman can be impatient, bored, and unpleasant. On a few occasions she has been borderline rude and truly unhelpful (and pushy). She seems impatient and really does appear to care. One one occasion she was actually kinda nice. Pros: Nice shop, reasonable quality stuff Cons: Terrible customer service at times, expensive, limited selection more

Top Shop 6/11/2003

Ive been to most of the local shops in this area including Santa Cruze and this shop rates top! The owners are awsome when it comes to customer service. They have always made sure I had the best suit and board and always had and acurate comment on the local surf. Rental boards and suits are extremly resonable and high quality. This place looks right out of one of the Surf Mags. I would recomend this place above all others! Pros: Cheap Gear, Friendly Setting, Stellar Structure Cons: No ocean veiw more
