Hairy Beast Dog & Cat

The groomers here are very knowledgeable. My Airedale is somewhat difficult I have been everywhere and no one could groom here 1)They would mess up the hair cut 2) She tries to bite the groomer they could not finish her. They were able to give her the most beautiful haircut and had no trouble grooming her. Thank you so much for helping Daisy. more

Absolutely LOVE this shop and groomers (Brett). I take 2 of my dogs here and each time, they come out looking fabulous. Their hours are great, easy to get in appointments, a real person calls you the day before to remind you of your appointment (seriously, who does that anymore?), they will call you if something arises other than what was discussed for the appointment, just an overall great place. I will continue to patronize as I enjoy the employees and I love that they don't fit the typical, cookie-cutter ""professional"" appearance that some may desire but these people do a damn good job! more

We moved to the area 5 months ago. I groom my two Bichon Frises myself but need help once in a while when I don't have time. The Hairy Beast was recommended to me and I have to say, after using a couple of other groomers in town because they were closer to me, went right back to The Hairy Beast. They know how to correctly bathe, blow dry, and comb out my long haired Bichons. I won't go anywhere else from here on out. My experience has been a professional, knowledgeable, and courteous staff. Bichons are not easy dogs to groom as I very well know but have been very satisfied with their personal attention to my requests which can be a little demanding. I am very particular to the way they are groomed. They even accommodate my special needs for quick turn around with my medical alert dog. Praises to the Hairy Beast. more

Dropped my dogs off and was greeted by a surly, extremely unprofessional-looking man at the front desk. I had made an appointment previously, detailing everything we wanted done, but when I brought them in, it was as if we had never spoken before. Most every response from the shop worker was rude and condescending. When we picked the dogs up, we noticed immediately that their haircuts were not up to par. It looked like my 7 year old had gotten a hold of them with the scissors! The groomer was apparently untrained in various dog breed grooming techniques and cut where they shouldn't have & did not trim areas that should have been. On top of that, they charged me $20 more than we had discussed, which needless to say, I was not pleased about. My dogs are now scratching and licking themselves constantly since their return, so I will most likely re-bathe them to see if that helps. I defintely would NOT recommend this establishment. more

Very friendly, very clean, and a very happy puppy. My chow came out looking very adorable, and very professionally groomed. They're fast, friendly, and really seem to love what they do. My dog loved their staff, and I'll be taking him back there as a regular customer. He even came out with a handsome looking bandana on.(I loved it!) Highly recommended, and easily the best one I've been too in the Tulsa area. Their prices are fair, and they only charge extra if your dog is in poor care.(Which in my case, his belly was heavily matted, and it was a reasonable charge for what was my fault and extra work on their part.) more

I have taken my husky to the Hairy Beast for 2 years now! I will not go anywhere else! They do a great job and they are always so friendly to the animals. I highly recommend them to all my friends, family, and co-workers! Pros: Friendly service, clean place, and good prices. Cons: I have nothing negative to say. They are great! more

What I usually pay $25 for other places, Hairy Beast managed to jack up to over 30% more when I returned, LOOK OUT! There was no regard for my instructions( shaved to the bare bones) or my pet's need for water and a trip out, not to mention contradictory charges( shaved and a scissor cut?) more charges for this and that, ridicules, opportunistic and thoughtless. Pros: Not professional Cons: Cha'ching, not listening! more

! took my poodle to Hairy Beast to be groomed and I was so happy with the resuts that I will be back for sure.She looks great.The people there is very friendely and Know how to deal whith the dogs.And the new owners did a great job updating the place it looks very clean and smell very good. I was so pleased with the great service of Hairy Beast. They did an excellent job with my Bichon and its the best service I have had. Excellent environment and wonderful groomers. Im definitely going back and telling everyone about them. more

I have taken my golden retriever to this groomer three times and they have never put her in their system. I took her in 5 days ago, and they had her down (I made an appointment) as a yorkie. When I picked her up 6 hours after dropping her off, she looked fine and was anxious to be out the door. Upon further inspection I found that her tail was extremely uneven and had inches long portions that had not been clipped. I had to even it up myself. She had three mats that weren't there when I dropped her off which I had to cut out, bows in her hair that had to be cut out because they were put in so tightly and she reeked of cologne so badly that I had to roll the windows down in the car. more
