I took my wife's car in because the battery died . We replaced the battery and where we purchased the new battery said it was dieing because the alternator wasn't charging it. We took it in and when we returned we were told it was just a loose and coroded connection. We were not charged at all. I am surprised to see the negative reviews. We have used them several times and have never had reason to doubt their honesty. more

This family is truly awesome in their business dealings. Every time I've had work done by them (which has been plenty) they have done an excellent job, it's been done right and best of all easy on the pocket book!! Terrible customer service, and I do believe they ripped me off! I took my car in for an estimate, got $1400.00. I was suspicious, so I took it down the street, and the fix cost me $125.00. Either they are incompetent, or they are liars and thieves. Find a better mechanic, it's not hard. Cons: they are dishonest and incompetent. more

I have take 2 of my cars to Hagen's Automotive in the last 2 years. With the first car, I have to admit that I was skeptical. i was told by the manager that i would need an transmission rebuild. This was bad news to me, as I had just had work done on my transmission 6 months before. The service manager was very understanding, took many calls from me, and walked through why the transmission had failed, and what my options were. He also explained to me that Hagens may not be the cheapest around, but that they would always stand by their work... and they have. We had the transmission rebuilt, and had a few problems about 5 months later. Dropped the vehicle off in the morning, and got it back the next morning... it has been over a year now, and no problems at all. I am so pleased with their work, that i would recommend them to anyone. They aren't the cheapest, but do you really want cheap work when it comes to your vehicle?? Pros: Friendly, honest, up front about all costs... no hidden costs Cons: None that I know of more

We have used this car repair facility for over 12 years. The new owners, Hagens, are as great as the previous owners, Honest Engine. Recently, we took both of our vechicles in for check-ups. They found nothing wrong with either vechicle, told us so, and did not charge us anything for the truck (since we are long time customers).....AND we only got a charge for the car because we had asked them to see why it was idling too fast. They replaced the needed part, the labor was more than fair, and no extra charges for her check-up. They had the car ready to be picked-up later that same day. Pros: Knowledgeable more
