Wow! I can't believe the negative reviews! I was treated by professionals - as a professional. I just moved to town and was referred to The Hadden Group. Carolyne helped me not only find the job I deserved, but helped me and my family find a great home in Nashville! Thank you for the warm welcome! more

The Hadden group placed me in the job I hold today 10 years ago. I am appalled at a few of the sour grape reviews I have just read. My company and I would never use anyone but Carolyne Hadden and The Hadden Group because of the great business ethics, and professional way The Hadden Group does business. I only have great things to say about Carolyne Hadden and her professional team. more

Let's face it, a placement firm's client is not the job seeker, but the company that pays their fee. I'm the VP of Human Resources for a local Fortune 500 company and have nothing but good things to say about the Hadden Group. While I've seen firms come and go over the years, this one seems to have weathered the storm. I think they've been in business 15+ years. I've used them for many placements at very different levels within the companies I've steered. My guess is that many of these negative comments are coming from people they did not place and not from their company client like me...oh well. I don't know of a single firm that has more local contacts than them. more

I have worked with the Hadden Group 2 different times. Both times I was placed in a professional setting with room for growth. The staff was very diligent, prompt and eager to help me get a head start over the competition. Just because you interview/submit a resume with the team doesn't mean they are required to find your dream job in 24 hours. They place you when they feel it would be an amazing fit. I have had a great experience with the team and encourage others to take the time to apply with them if you indeed want a professional career. more

I am also surprised at the other comments about the Hadden Group. In the last ten years, I have used their services 3 times. The first two times, I did end up finding employment on my own but currently I am at my dream job which THEY placed me in! I always found the staff to be friendly and had no problems with them getting back in touch with me. I think it is sad that people are so quick to be negative. For every one of the negative responses left, there are numerous positive cases (like myself) that do not get posted. I'm sure that The Hadden Group would love to place everyone they come in contact with, but of course that just isn't possible. I also know that there is an entirely different staff since I first worked with them. I have had a wonderful experience over the last 10 years and would reccommend them highly! more

I barely walked in the door when my ""recruiter"" told me that she found me a job, which surprised me considering we'd never even talked about my experience and what I was looking for in a career. She was trying to talk me into interviewing for an office manager position, and I explained that I have 5 years in marketing and handle national client accounts. Nothing against the office position, but it's not my field at all. Then she made me take a typing test, and when I told her I'd like to wait until something else came along, she all but pushed me out the door and I've never heard a thing from them since. Do not waste your time with this Agency! I agree with all other posts as my experience was exactly the same. I am an EA with over 20 years of experience. They never called me for any position. I was much more successful with another firm and on my own. Very odd and usual in how they conduct business. I am surprised that they still exist. Cons: Too many to list. more

I am amused at the other reviews I've read about The Hadden Group. I very rarely leave reviews on my experiences unless I have an absolutely exceptional experience. But, my motivation in writing this review is to bring attention to a business that irrefutably feels superior to every person seeking for help finding employment. My experience with The Hadden Group was extremely insulting and degrading. I had recently relocated to Nashville, with no existing local contacts and was seeking the help of ""professionals."" When I walked through their doors, I felt confident and excited. These feelings shortly turned into dissapointment and concern. I have never been made to feel so unimportant with my professional background. My experience goes way beyond they field I work in and my salary requirements were extremely conservative. However, there was an absolute effort to dissolve my confidence and undercut my capabilites. Unlike, some of the other reviews, I WAS set up in interviews. Interviews for positions I am completely overqualified for and were significantly under my salary requirements. \r When I explained this to Cynthia Hadden, she said I would need to accept these positions because it was highly unlikely that I would be considered for the positions I wanted. I never had a chance from the moment I walked through their doors.\r Thankfully, now I am acting CEO of a prominent Nashville based business. I have found a rewarding position in a field I have always exceled in no thanks to the Hadden Group.\r Your much better off doing your own footwork. They are a complete waste of time.\r Cons: Extremely unprofessional and rude. more

I called about a job that was posted by them on careerbuilder. After 2 seconds of talking to me the lady told me, very rudely, that I was unqualified for this job. Fine, ok. She then asked me to send her my resume. I did so with hopes of being called or emailed back with a next step in the job hunting process. Nothing..... that was 2 weeks ago and I have yet to hear back from Gwen at the Hadden Group. Although I do not feel as bad now after reading the other reviews. I'm now glad that I have not been contacted! If you want to be told your inferior and then never hear back from them, then this is the place for you. Cons: very unfriendly staff more
