I typically don't take the time to write reviews about companies or products...even when my experience has not been the best; however, I really feel the need to provide feedback on what my interaction was like with The Hadden Group. Personally, I would not recommend this ""executive search firm"" (which is what they THINK they are) to any truly professional individual I know. I became concerned about working with The Hadden Group as soon as I received an email from the recruiter with whom I was working, as her writing skills were very poor and that was the first red flag that let me know I didn't need to waste my time or energy with the company, but out of curiousity about the position for which I was contacted, I decided to move forward and meet with them...against my better judgment, of course. As soon as I turned on to the street where the office of The Hadden Group is located, I began kicking myself. Although everything in me was telling me to turn around, I reluctantly forced myself out of my car...after all, I had already wasted my gas and a nice business suit, so why not go through with the interview. Upon walking into their office and seeing the heavily made up/clownish look of the receptionist who refused to acknowledge me until she finished chatting it up with a co-worker, I knew The Hadden Group was not an agency that I wanted to work with. While sitting in the lobby waiting for the interview to begin, I had the opportunity to observe the staff and the lack of professionalism that I saw was enough to make me get up and walk out prior to the start of the interview. I didn't see many of the recruiters, but the three female recruiters who I did see, were dressed in a manner that bordered on ""sluttish""...short skirts/dresses and a ton of makeup. How and why would I entrust my employment search or accept career advice from recruiters who I felt were in need of ""make unders"" and career counseling themselves? The Hadden Group gets a BIG THUMBS DOWN.
