Good, timely repair 5/28/2010

I have a Samsung 56" DLP HDTV that was not turning on properly. I contacted this company to repair my unit and they dispatched a technician to my house that day. After doing an initial assessment on the unit, it was determined that it could not be fixed on the spot. Pros: Friendly, quick response time Cons: Service fee seems excessive more

I Refused To Pay 4/27/2009

We had a repair guy from this company over to repair our TV and I ended up refusing to pay for the problem because the TV was left with another issue which I felt was being caused by the new parts. Great place to do business 4/23/2009

The first time my HD TV went out in Nov 08, the power supply board needed to be replaced. It was done in a matter of 3 days and returned. Now, Apr 09, the TV was on the fritz again. He picked up the TV, fixed it, and once again returned it in 3 days. Even though it was a completely different problem, he did all of this for FREE. He said I had spent enough last time so this was ON HIM! What a remarkable service in this economy. I don't know what the issues were below, but I have always had a wonderful experience. I took my tv the be serviced and aarow hd-tv and found it to be a good experiance overall. After paying $39 for an estimate, on the next day I was called with an estimate. The estimate was $385 to have the power supply replaced. Since I paid $1450 for my 42 inch philips lcd tv of course I told them to go ahead with the repair. It took 2 days for the part to come in and they had it in my set on the same day. I am very happy with the service that Pros: good prompt service Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

HD TV otherwise known as Arrow Electronics is the worst shop in town. 3/5/2009

This is a horrible company. Do not take your TV there. They will lie, cheat and steal from you. They will swap out parts in your tv and put in one that belongs to someone else. They are not careful about handling your equipment and you are guaranteed to have scratches that you didn't have before. They will charge you more than they agreed too and are always trying to up sell you. If you run into a guy named Effi, run the other way. He will steal you blind. more

Poor Follow up 12/12/2008

I contacted HD TV for some assistance with my 52" HD TV. They came out for the assessment and looked at my tv. The technician was not very clear on the next steps other than stating they would need to order the part and I would hear from them in a couple of days. I paid my $69.00 assessment fee and agreed. Pros: The technician mobiled out to my home which was very convenient. Cons: No follow up after my assessment. more

Will scratch up your equipment 11/25/2008

Brought in a unit for repair. They spend 2 times as long as they told me to diagnose the problem. Turned out to be too expensive to repair, and was not repaired. I suspect that their diagnosis was correct based on other repair places responses. The thing that really bothered me is that when I picked up the unit, is was scratched up and missing a few screws. It was in perfect physical condition when I dropped it off at their shop. Pros: Reasonable diagnosis fee Cons: Poor handling of your equipment. scatches! more
