Their prices are fair and the quality of settings that I examined were of excellent craftsmanship. The sales staff was knowledgeable, helpful and not pushy. They have some great stones. They obviously have a lot of customers because of the work that they do. A very personable touch to the shop is how they post pictures and cards of customers on a wall.When you know what you want and what you are looking for you can find it. It's out there. I was recommended to come to H & A by a friend, but unfortunately my girlfriend and I did not have a great experience. We had visited a handful of places before coming here hoping it was our last stop. The impression from the salesman seemed as though he didn't care about us. We told him a few things we were looking for and my girlfriend was having a hard time deciding what she wanted, like any woman would do trying to decide on an expensive piece of jewelry that she'd be wearing the rest of her life. The salesman wasn't patient at all and pressured her into making a decision. He got angry at her and let it show. When her phone rang for work he said rudely ""why don't you take that phone call."" When she returned he also returned with a diamond. At this point, we were both uncomfortable being there. He didn't tell us the price of the diamond and when we asked about the spec's he said they weren't important. We also asked for a loupe and he didn't let us use one. This made us think we shouldn't do business with a place like this. We wanted to work with a jeweler who's honest and show us the spec's and not try to use sales tactics and to treat us respectfully. We DO NOT recommend this place and will continue shopping elsewhere. more

When I came here to write a review about my experience at H&A and saw what some of these people wrote. I have a feeling that these people writing reviews are just miserable people and probably complain about anything to try and get something free. Then when they don't get it they do things like write bad reviews. At the suggestions by many, many friends who had shopped there before I decided to go to H&A to shop for my engagement ring. I had been online to do some research and to see what the prices were for what I was looking for (a 2ct Round Ideal Cut) and prices were all over. Then I started shopping around town at the other so called wholesalers. Their prices were not that great. Then I got referred to H&A and I am so glad I did. I found exactly what I wanted at the very best price I had found. The salesperson was nice and listened and took the time to explain to me different options instead of just trying to sell me something. I even got a chance to meet the owner Haim Haviv while I was there. I had heard him on the radio before and it was neat to meet him. How many places can you go these days and actually talk to the owner? After I picked it out I had explained that I was hoping to give my fiance the ring that night but I understood if I couldn't because the diamond had to be put in the ring and the ring had to be sized. The salesperson told me it was not a problem and after I signed the paperwork I left to get lunch and got a call about an hour later saying that it was ready. It was perfect and when I gave it to my fiance that night she just cried and told me how incredible the ring was. She gets compliments on it all the time and they always ask where we got it and I tell them ""H&A"" Don't think twice about choosing H&A as your jeweler!! I have been a customer of H&A for over 10 years. I have never been disappointed. Quality is remarkable and the prices are unbeatable. I have purchased both large and small ticket items.\r \r Where else can you go consistently pay 20-25% off Retail prices on the best (or most fashionable) designer jewelry and watches in the market today.
