The Most Compassionate and Loving Pet Care You Can Find! 11/17/2011

I'm not able to say what went wrong with V.B.s visit with her cat; it doesn't sound like the same place my family and friends have taken our beloved furry children for more than 5 years. This includes 6 dogs and 4 cats. All of them have received the friendliest staff attention and all paperwork focused on the best care for each "patient". The technicians and assistants have always been gentle and caring. The doctors become personally involved with each pet, their needs, and the impact a sick pet has on you. They are honest about prognoses from the beginning, assist you with every step on the way to the Rainbow Bridge, and help you with your sorrow and the care of your pet after their passing. They also understand how traumatic this can be for other family pets and help them through their loss. Doctors Green, McConaughey and Betton always know your pet's history when providing care, even if they have never taken care of them before. I can only give them the highest rating possible! more

My Cat and Dog's Best Doctors Yet 10/31/2011

Let me open with this: I LOVE THESE VETS!!! I moved here in May with my cat and he's EXTREMELY anxious when he goes to the vet. I only recently brought him in and that is what led me to write this review. In August I got a 6 week old and I was desperately searching for someone to take him to because he was a farm dog and I knew that meant he had just about everything you could think of. He was diagnosed with ring worms, round worms, hook worms, fleas...it was awful. With all the medication they gave him and the special shampoo I thought it was going to cost a bundle, but it didn't. Their prices were very reasonable. The techs were gentle with him and very kind. Dr. Bailey is his regular vet and she is just so good with him and explains everything she's looking at while she's looking. The place is immaculate! Unfortunately, I've been in there a lot with the new puppy, but he's a people dog, so he has been easily impressed. I finally had to bring my cat in on the 13th...again...this is what led me to write this review. I find many vets handle dogs well, but seem to have a distaste for cats. A few of the things that stood out to me about the facility were things like the fact that they have separate waiting areas for the dogs and cats. My cat gets anxious if he even sees a dog, so this was nice. Then, they also have separate exam rooms for the cats, so they don't smell the dogs. Even with this, though, my cat started hyperventilating. The tech was real nice and tried to calm him down, but when she could see him getting very physically upset I figured that she would be like the rest of the vets and do the bare minimum for him. She instead took him in his carrier to see the vet. When our vet came in she informed us that the cat was too upset, but with our permission she would use a gas to make him fall asleep and still run all the tests. I was so surprised...this had never been an option for me. He's 2 years old and just now finally been checked for everything under the sun! Overall, I think the staff is very professional and it is apparent that they love their patients. The ladies in reception are very nice too. They have learned from what I can see every patient's name. It's fantastic! I don't know if I can say enough about them. I highly recommend going there. Hershey and Goober both love Dr. Bailey and she is their regular vet so she's who I can vouch for the most. Pros: null Cons: null more

Terrible Experience 6/4/2009

What was suppose to be a simple exam was a nightmare. My cat is skittish, even more so when I put him in the car. The anguish that my cat experiences is observable by his deep meowing that almost sounds like a bark and the super fast beating of his heart. The anxiety that this little guy experiences does not stop until he gets home. \r \r We get to the clinic and rather than assigning us to a pet room they have me fill out all of this tedious paper work that asks for all the information that seems enough to buy a car. I asked why all of this information was needed (between my cats tense meowing), they said it was for payment purposes. Later, one of the techs dismisses my concern by saying it was no big deal, everyone asks for this type of information and its confidential. I could go to the ER and be seen without even giving my name. I further inquired why they needed my place of employment and employer's phone number and they said this was in case they had an emergency. I asked more
