What was suppose to be a simple exam was a nightmare. My cat is skittish, even more so when I put him in the car. The anguish that my cat experiences is observable by his deep meowing that almost sounds like a bark and the super fast beating of his heart. The anxiety that this little guy experiences does not stop until he gets home. \r \r We get to the clinic and rather than assigning us to a pet room they have me fill out all of this tedious paper work that asks for all the information that seems enough to buy a car. I asked why all of this information was needed (between my cats tense meowing), they said it was for payment purposes. Later, one of the techs dismisses my concern by saying it was no big deal, everyone asks for this type of information and its confidential. I could go to the ER and be seen without even giving my name. I further inquired why they needed my place of employment and employer's phone number and they said this was in case they had an emergency. I asked
