Whatever you do, do NOT use these guys. They lie, cheat, randomly charge you, break things willy nilly and HOLD YOUR BELONGINGS HOSTAGE! WE were charged $400 for packing materials....that were our own property. We had two wardrobe boxes from a previous move & they destroyed them, AND CHARGED US FOR THEM! They fired one guy during the move & actually told him that he was talking to me too much!!!! I said ""Hello"" to the man. Good thing I was moving out of town because I was afraid the guy was going to hunt me down! Another thing, Misty (the sales woman) PROMISED me that all of the employees had worked for years with the company, were bonded, etc & come to find out.... They hired these guys literally off the streets as day labor...On both ends I might add. Several things that were near & dear to us and were PROMISED (again by Misty) they would be packaged appropiately and for free no less! Sounds great right? Yeah, except these things were ALL broken and we were charged for the packing! It was literally just one thing after another. They added several hundred dollars more while they had our stuff in transit, and would not unload without the CASH! OK, ever tried to come up with 4 thousand dollars in cash on a Sunday????? When you are suppossed to pay $3000? The foreman at the end of the deal was SLEEPING in the cab of the truck. It was literally a freaking nightmare. I was in tears at the end of it. They shipped things that were NOT to be shipped & left things behind that were precious items. Now we moved in September of 2011, we still have not recieved our insurance claim check. The company is now saying they gave us a discount of some sort & it is affecting our insurance claim. All I have to say is what a crock is this? We never got a discount by the way, our bill was in fact jacked up. Do they own the insurance company too???? So EIGHT months later.... we STILL have not recieved our claim money. So #1....charged for our own packing material....$400. #2...charged over our quote...........................$800 #3 .... Discount taken out of our insurance claim? Excuse me BUT WTF! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT! more

Thank god we came here and read the reviews before choosing our mover; we almost went with a mover that had terrible ratings. Green van lines however performed as advertised and we were very happy with their service. more

Green van lines were a good choice to perform our relocation. The price quoted was what we were charged and are items arrived without any damage. The movers worked very quickly and did a great job of wrapping our things for the move. We were given a complete detailed items list of every item placed on and off the truck. They even carted away all my empty boxes and trash for me. more

“I will not be at the delivery when my Ford Focus arrives in Oregon”, this is what I told to the contact person of Green Van Lines. My concern was a smooth and careful transition of my vehicle and they said that they will take every possible care of my car while transporting it. When my car arrived in Oregon, I was called up by the driver and he was very responsive to my needs. It was a smooth coordination we had over phone and my car was sent where I asked him to send it. Absolutely recommended!!! more

After my move I can say that these men are really talented. They gave me an exquisite moving experience. The packing crew finished their job within four hours and I cannot forget to mention here that it was a five bedroom house that we used to live in, so you can well imagine that there were plenty of things to be packed and wrapped. Though they were very quick in finishing the packing, still were careful enough. None of my things are broken or damaged. more
