Best Service I Know! 2/6/2012

Best cab service I know! I called and they were there just a few mins after. They had no problem with taking me across town! amazing, clean and spacious car. Friendly driver lady! Not overly talkative, but nice enough to offer me gum during the long ride after I gave her bad directions. She didn't mind at all. And in the end only cost 35 dollars! I definitely left her an amazing tip seeing how it took over 45 mins b/c of my bad directions! I would recommend this place to my grandmother and yours! more

A reservation was made to take a blind employee home. They were told the passenger was a blind woman. The employee picked the company because she liked the name ""Green"" and thought it meant environmentally friendly. The blind employee waited outside the building for about 15 minutes until a kind stranger came to her and asked her if she was waiting for a cab, because the cab had been sitting in the parking lot for some time. The passenger believes that the driver got lost because the trip took longer than what she was used to and he took her to the wrong house at first. She did say that he was friendly, but spoke poor English. Fortunately the mistake was discovered before he left. The final bill (put on the company account) was 25% more than was quoted. I called to complain, and was told that there was an add-on because the driver had to wait so long. I said that they had been told he was picking up a blind person. She was there on time, but he did not announce his presence to her. I've been told to call back later and talk to the owner or supervisor. She did get home, but was almost abandoned at a location that would have been impossible to recover from, since she would have had no idea where she was. I don't think we should have to pay for the ""waiting time"" or the extra miles while he was lost. We'll see if we get any satisfaction, but we will not be using them again. more

Nasty nasty nasty 11/27/2010

Never EVER use this company. We were picked up in time for our drive to the airport. The green Van felt like some crazy molester, super dirty and smelled like radiator fluid. Lot's of green duct tape held the interior together. Not a good sign. The driver was o.k but it was a freezing morning as the storm had just passed thru. Date was November 23 2010. Again..it was FREEZING I asked the driver to turn on the heater and he just laughed and said to cuddle up back there. What? He did not turn on the heater. From Sandy Ave he finally turned on 82nd to the airport. This is when he turned on the DEFROSTER. Hey, you turned on the defroster not the heater. Can you turn on the heater I said. Nah, this is what I use. Are you kidding me? The six of us were freezing and could see our breaths. This guy was a nut. He told my husband well, I better get your wife to the airport so she can warm up. What an idiot! The second trip from the airport to the residence was a brand new driver (said the driver). Obviously from a Russian country. We were only going about 5 miles and it was an easy drive. The driver tried to take us on the FREEWAY to take us 5 miles to our destination! What the hell? Can we find a way to pad the trip bill? No no no....go this way....had to tell the driver how to take us home. DO NOT USE THIS CAB COMPANY!!!! more

I used Green Shuttle for a trip to the airport and back from Tanasbourne. They confirmed our reservation and picked both myself and a coworker up on time. Our travel was international so I emailed to confirm our return and added another person to the drop off. The service was seamless and I will use them again! I would recomend Green Cab & Green Shuttle to my friends and family! more

No Show 7/27/2010

I read all the negative reviews and decide to give Green Cab a chance, which was a huge mistake. Imade an appointment on Friday for the following Monday to get to the airport. At the scheduled time, no cab. I called and the guy swore and then proceded to tell me they didn't have my appointment with a mumbled apology. I asked how long it would take to get someone there, he said 15 minutes. I hung up and immediately called Radio Cab, who had a cab there in 4 minutes. If you want reliable service, do not use Green Cab. more

***CUSTOMER BEWARE*** 7/17/2010

I prepaid for Green Cab to pick-up my brother to the airport at 4AM. The service was confirmed. My brother waited from 3AM untili 5AM with multiple calls to Green Cab. The last call they said they'd be there in 5 minutes, but they NEVER SHOWED UP. My brother almost missed his flight because of their incompetence and COMPLETE LACK OF SERVICE. HOW CAN YOU RUN A TRANSPORTATION COMPANY WITH NO TRANSPORTATION?!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU NEED TO GO SOMEWHERE. Maybe for cupcakes it's ok. All they deserve is a negative star.? Pros: NONE! Cons: EVERYTHING more

You DO NOT have to take one of these taxis at the airport 5/4/2010

I vowed last time -- because the driving was so bad -- never to take this cab company anywhere. This time, I was at the airport, in a hurry to get home, and didn't refuse the next-in-line, a Green Cab. The Russian driver set his GPS to our address. I kept an eye on it and sure enough, he disregarded its clear directions in order to take a MUCH slower, thru-downtown, route to my home. I then had to instruct him how to go and several times he disregarded me in order to get into the wrong lane and take a ""wrong turn"". Of course the meter was running! He also talked on his cell phone, didn't keep a safe following distance, and was not helpful with my luggage. TERRIBLE. Avoid! Pros: clean enough inside Cons: Too many to list in this space -deserves zero stars more

Unsafe and unfriendly 12/31/2009

Our driver put one of our 4 bags into the cab. He grumbled that our fare was not large since we live relatively close to the airport. As a pregnant woman, he did not offer to help me in any way with the stroller or other bag I was carrying, and was grouchy that I wanted to sit in the front seat, which meant he had to move some of his things. He drove 15 miles over the speed limit and slowed down only when a police car was headed the other direction. Our son of 21 months was in his car seat in the back along with my husband. I will choose other companies in the future. Pros: the ride was quick Cons: Not courteous, drove too quickly, did not offer to help much more

Very fast, freindly, and reliable. Not your average boring cab company. Great dispatchers and employees. Drivers dont take the long senic route to make an extra dollar.To the lady below, why did you only give your son a 15 minute window from pick up to catch the train? What if the cab got a flat tire, or there was an accident backing up traffic, or your son could not get off the toilet. Sounds like you think you can just get out of a taxi, get on board a train as if everything revolves around you. Yes, I have had Green Cab show up to my place late before (rarely), but I have had Radio Cab, and Broadway Cab never even show up. more

Unreliable 3/2/2008

I called the cab company 2 days before for a 8:15 am timeslot. I called the night before and confirmed they would be there. At 8:15 my son, who was catching the train to come home for the week-end from college, told me they haven't shown up yet. Called the company and was then told 10 minutes, At 8:35 finally showed up and, of course, my son missed the train. Cons: Green Cab Co., unreliable even if call 24 hours in advance more

Faster Service 1/13/2008

I used to talke Broadway Cab, and Radio Cab. They would sometimes arrive, sometimes not. I would not even get a phone call to let me know they would not be arriving. I found out that Broadway and Radio dispatch their calls via sattilite. If no driver takes the call within 45 minutes, its deleted from the system. Pros: Fast and Friendly Cons: You won't want to switch to another company again! more

I have been taking consistent trips with Green Cab for the last few years now. The dispatch office answers the phones way faster than Broadway or Radio cab, no robot call answering at this company. Live people answering the phone fast. Friendly drivers. Pros: Thumbs up more
