TOTAL SCAM STAY AWAY!!! 4/1/2010

I was an idiot and used them don't make the same mistake. Why isn't zero stars an option? The highlights I was overcharged $40 for less than 3 hours of cleaning. Nothing green about them--the cleaner showed up an hour late with her bag of McDonalds and ate in my house before starting to clean. Then she spent the next 2 hours doing a HORRIBLE job cleaning while on her cell phone the whole time. To top it off they charged me for 4 hours of service. Ive filed a complaint with the BBB all I can tell you is to save yourself the misery. Cons: OVERCHARGED !! NOT GREEN more

mark phillips home is better 3/5/2010

I was annoyed that the service does NOT live up to the hype. They missed a lot and the apt looked ransacked and didn't smell fresh. After that I used another company from a referral called mark phillips home and got my money's worth. What a difference. Everything was done perfect and smelled like flowers. mark phillips deserves my business NOT them. Pros: on time Cons: too slow, not detailed more

One of the best cleaning services, nice workers, job well done and reasonable rates. Maria came on time, I left for work and as I returned I was happy to see my kitchen and bathroom spotless. Pros: reasonable rates, friendly staff, job well done more

Stay away 5/4/2009

In short, steer clear of this company. Tamesha didn't do any of the following: Wipe under any of our small appliances on countertop. Wipe the sides/bottoms of either of our toilets. Mop either bathroom floor. Dust inside the TV cabinet. ... She also left an inch of dirty water inside the tub. When I called to complain, they didn't give me any money off the $100 cleaning, they just offered a $25 discount for my NEXT cleaning! As if we'd use them again after being treated so shabbily this time. Again, stay away. There are many, many other cleaners in Brooklyn. Pros: Phone guy (Mike) was nice Cons: Terrible job more

RELIABLE / HARD WORKING 11/16/2008

We have the same girl from Green Apple Maids cleaning our office for the last 9 months. This is a daily service. The girl never missed a day of work. We used to have few different companies prior to Green Apple Maids but a different cleaning lady or a cleaning man used to come and clean and we always had to explain to the cleaner how we like our office to be clean. We are very happy with the service. more

Two weeks ago we hire them to clean our 8,000 sq.ft. office after renovation. We called few companies to compare pricing and we decided to offer the job to Green Apple Maids because their pricing was the lowest. Some companies offer us 4, 6 or even 10 cleaners to complete the job. To our big suprise, Green Apple Maids arrived with a van and two men. Yes, two men, and we asked them : Are you sure this job can be done today? We need to move in tomorrow..."" In 4 hours the job was completed... Pros: fast indeed, very fast! more

One of the best cleaning services. I'm a cleanng freak! I ALWAYS have cleaning service on a weekly basis at my home. The last 10 years, I probably tried every single cleaning company in NY. Green Apple Maids is one of the best! They are very reliable and they get the job done. Most Important, they work 24/7. more

Awful service; do not use 8/30/2008

I was very disappointed in this service. The person they sent did not seem to know how to clean an apartment and acted as if she had never had a job before. The kitchen floor, shower doors, tub and and living room surfaces were dirty after she left. For $130 for a one-bedroom, I expected a really clean apartment. Instead I spent an additional 1-1/2 hours cleaning it myself! Pros: There are no pros Cons: Don't know how to clean more

Horrible Cleaning Service 8/30/2008

The girl they sent to clean my apartment was over an hour and 15 min. late (she came 45 minutes after I notified the company). Her excuse was that she was in bed and didn't realize the time...oh, and that the trains were really slow. She looked very sloppy and unprofessional -- not somebody I would feel comfortable leaving at my home alone. My rugs were not vacuumed, my hardwood and marble floors were not mopped, and dust was left everywhere. The company had informed me that they would also do my laundry -- even that was not handled (and I have a washer/dryer in my apartment!). The maid also left me a nice surprise after using one of my bathrooms -- there was urine on the toilet seat and on the floor beneath! On top of it all, she demanded a tip at the ""end"" of her service. Cons: Service, Professionalism more

Terrible Service, Damaged Furniture 8/2/2008

I do not recommend this company at all. The girl was very sweet, but she did not know what she was doing. After 6 hours of her cleaning my apartment, the carpets looked like she had done nothing at all, and there was still dust on multiple surfaces, so thick that when I ran my finger on a few shelves there was a glaring difference in color. She also damaged my wood dresser, leaving a huge chunk of wood missing and a ring caked on the top from her cleaning solution. Not Reliable~Mediocre Service 5/17/2008

Our company tried them a few times for our store and each time they came very late and did not clean good at all. The people that came just seemed to have little experience and were not informed about the job they came to do. Needless to say we stopped using them quickly. Cons: Late & Lower Quality more
