Best

The Greek Cuisina downtown closed but there is still one in Tualatin. It has great Greek food and a cool atmosphere. I love the Calamari and the Gyros. Pros: Love the food ...

Worst

I like to play this game...go eat lunch by myself when I know the random restaurant has a tv and sports are on. Its fun for me. I wondered into Greek Cusina today (Sunday) at 1245...

Dancing! 7/16/2003

I have never been for dinner, but on Friday and Saturday nights this place is crazy (in a good way). They play good music for dancing, the cover is never more than $5, the line is worth the wait and drinks are no spendier than any other club in portland. Go, you will have fun! Pros: fun crowd, great music, party place Cons: can be too crowded more

NEW YEARS EVE BLAST!! 1/2/2003

What a great place to spend New Year's Eve. The staff is friendly and the ambiance is FUN. Great rack of lamb, great show, and dancing all night long. Haven't had this much fun since Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Go with a group and stay all night for the best value. Pros: Lamb, Singers/Belly Dancers, Music more

Breakfast not very good 11/14/2002

I've only tried the breakfast and was disappointed: scrambled eggs with feta makes it a Greek breakfast? Nevertheless, I've heard very mixed reviews. Pros: orange juice Cons: breakfast more

awesome service & food!!!! 10/26/2002

Service is the best when wait staff is treated with respect and patience...go to McDonalds for speedy food, go to the Greek Cusina if you want the Chef to prepare the best swordfish in Portland. The Chefs strive for perfection so the dining is slow and family style. We eat at this restaurant whenever we want good food and fun. Samir, Nate, Paul and Jeff-in the AM are all professionals. Serving the tired and hungry deserves respect... Pros: seafood & kabobs, spanakopita, personal service Cons: parking... take MAX, wear light clothing, a local hot spot more

service was amazing 9/11/2002

we had reservations on a saturday night and it was so much fun. the food was good but the service was the best. our waitress jennifer made us laugh and made the whole time better. the food took a little while but that would be expected. we always had food to munch on while waiting and a great time with our waitress who kept us entertained every second. Pros: great service, fun more

Good food & fun 9/4/2002

I love this place. I have been here several times and I think the food is delicious. The place gets pretty happening at night with belly dancing & plate tossing. Yummy desserts too! Great takeout for lunch if you're in a hurry. Pros: Food more

Surprised! 8/2/2002

Had eaten here a few times in the past and was not impressed. Thought it was overpriced & food wasn't that good. Just ate there again recently and was surprised--had the best beef kabob I've had in forever! Delicious! Huge portion--but, still a bit overpriced. Nice waiters. Don't order smoothies. Pros: great kabobs, convenient, nice staff Cons: overpriced, authentic??? more

SHIFTY, SHAMEFUL BARTENDER 7/29/2002

Watch out for that blonde hair woman bartender upstairs by the dance floor! We ordered 2 Crown Royal and Cokes...she made the first one and then she ran out of Crown. So she poured Jack Daniels and pretended it was Crown! We watched her do it and we called her on it--and she denied it! She got really angry and went into the back! Shifty and shameful...she gives bartenders a bad rep. Pros: Dancing Cons: That bartender, DJ spins CDs more

So FUN!! 7/26/2002

Some friends got together for dinner on a Thursday night. Of course it was pretty laid back...but SO FUN!! We danced, broke plates, danced, drank and ate ourselves silly. We were apprehensive about dancing...there were only two other couples there at the time...but we were dragged out there and had a fabulous time!! Great music, fun atmosphere. Pros: Quiet on Thursday, Funny/Friendly Servic, STRONG DRINKS!! Cons: Downtown...so far... more

THIS PLACE ROCKS! 7/18/2002

My friend was back visiting from NYC so we got about 15 friends and made reservations for a table upstairs. We all had a total blast!!! Dinner was fabulous(do the Zeus platter!),then there was plenty of crazy fun entertainment including live band w/ great singer, drinking games, group dancing directed by the owner AND a bit o' plate breakin. :) After that, the place turned into a dance club and we danced till about 2am! GO HERE to show someone a great time!!!! Pros: stellar food, entertainment, dancing Cons: service was lacking, no ventillation more

It is what it is 7/15/2002

I'm not one to say this should be the classic Greek dining place or the best ever, or try to compare it to that. What it is is a decent Greek place for a good lunch or dinner. The best Greek I've ever had- no. Not even close, but it is good. Not the kind of place I go out of my way to go to, but enjoy well enough when I do. more

Stop whining and shout ""OPA!"" 6/18/2002

One of our favorite downtown restaurants! The food is consistently good... lots of it... and a fun, noisy atmosphere! This place is a party waiting to happen! It's a great place to take for a special occasion! Just relax and enjoy yourself... Opa!!! Pros: Fun Atmosphere, Good Food Cons: Noisy, Sometimes Crowded more

This Ain't Greek Food 6/1/2002

When I go to a Greek restaurant, I want a Greek salad - not an Italian salad. And I don't want butter with my bread. Yes, I'm a Greek woman, but non-Greeks know good Greek food too. I was surprised to learn that the owner's Greek, considering how inauthentic some of the food is. The service is great, the ambience is good, and some of the main dishes are good, but if you're looking for really good, authentic Greek food, go to Demetri's. Pros: Good service Cons: Inauthentic salad more

Fun atmosphere, broken plates 5/21/2002

This place is so much fun that the food almost doesn't matter (though dishes are generally solid). Overall, it's an awesome place to go with a group of friends--whether for dinner or drinks. Be warned: It gets crazy around here upstairs late on weekend nights. Lots of ouzo shots and plate throwing. I've got friends who will never live down their actions at this place... Pros: good for groups more
