The Real Deal 8/3/2010

O.k. the sauce is fantastically seasoned, They need to mass market the stuff. The lamb, chicken are perfectly cooked and seasoned. The potatoes are better than anyone can imagine. The salads are to die for. If you are ever near Atlanta airport take a cab ride to this hidden oasis and believe me you will want to fly back just for the food. Oh, how I wish I could find a place like this in NJ or NY. My gosh. Nirvana!! Pros: Everything is Great Cons: None more

Tasty Food ; Stingy Portions ; Moderately Expensive ; Limited Menu 1/6/2009

Only eat here if you want a pork, chicken, or beef & lamb gyro. Tzatziki (cucumber yogurt sauce) is delicious, but you can buy this in bottles and capture the best of this restaurant. I bought two dinner plates ($7.99) and the portions were meager. Pros: Tzatziki (cucumber yogurt sauce) is delicious and service is fast. Cons: Portions and price. I would recommend or highly recommend if portions were bigger. more

Twice a Week Eat Greek 11/17/2008

Can't say anything that hasn't already been said. Excellent greek food, which is why it's always crowded. It's worth the wait, but don't go if you are agoraphobic or claustrophobic. Many people crammed into a tiny space trying to eat greek food sounds more frustrating that it really is, but it's not a relaxing lunch. To Go is highly recommended. Pros: Everything except the location and tiny building. Cons: possibilty of being trampled to death by hungry people more

Still One Of Atlanta's Best Gyro's! The Foodies Just Don't Know! 8/15/2007

I had to take a friend to Hartsfield today, and got off at Virginia Ave. It's been at least 20 years since I've stopped in this little hole. In fact, it was when Hartsfield was off Virginia Ave. The place was packed, because this is the real deal. Just one of the best Gyro's in the metro. Foodies have not found it still. The Greek owner works behind the counter, and the gyro meat is sliced in front of you. No frills, just great pita, sauce and meat. Love it! Pros: Just The Best Gyro In The Metro! Cons: Out Of The Way Location! more
